Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode penemuan terbimbing terhadap penalaran induktif matematika siswa kelas V SD. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri Beji 08 Depok sebanyak 36 orang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain pretest posttest control group design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes uraian dan dianalisis dengan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan mengalami kenaikan sebesar 48% dalam penalaran induktif matematika. Oleh sebab itu, guru perlu mengetahui kemampuan penalaran induktif siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. This experiment was intended to find the effect of guided discovery on the mathematics inductive reasoning of grade 5 students primary school. The sample of this experiment was 36 students at the Beji 08 of Depok Public Primary School. The technique of getting the sample was simple random sampling. The research used an experimental methods with pretest posttest control group design. Data were collected throught instrument by essay and analyzed by t-test. The result of research showed that the experimental group were treated increased by 48 % in mathematics inductive reasoning. Therefore, teachers need to know inductive reasoning skills of students in mathematics.
