Abstract

Sistem informasi administrasi adalah kumpulan dari komponen-komponen yang saling berhubungan satu dengan yang lain guna mendukung proses pendataan, pengaturan, pengalokasian dan pengawasan suatu kegiatan untuk mencapai tujuan tertentu. Pada kajian skripsi ini, dipaparkan alternatif terhadap permasalahan administrasi yang terjadi yaitu dengan merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem informasi administrasi laboratorium kimia yang mengakomodasi kebutuhan administrasi dan dikembangkan dengan metode System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model waterfall. Pertama kali mahasiswa login, mahasiswa diminta untuk melengkapi data diri yang nantinya akan menjadi sumber data bagi sistem sehingga setiap kali mahasiswa melakukan permohonan, tidak diperlukan lagi permintaan data diri yang berulang-ulang. Selanjutnya sistem dapat menampilkan daftar praktikum yang telah ditempuh oleh mahasiswa sebagai rekap untuk pihak laboratorium. Pada proses inventaris, sistem informasi administrasi dengan sendirinya akan melakukan pengurangan atau penambahan pada stok alat dan bahan kimia jika terjadi peminjaman. Information system administration is a collection of components that are interconnected with each other to support the process of data entry, arrangement, allocation and supervision of an activity to achieve certain goals. In this thesis study, presented an alternative to the administrative problems that occurred in the chemical laboratory that is by designing and implementing information systems administration that accommodates the needs of the existing administration and was developed by System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model waterfall. The first time students login to system, students are asked to complete their own data which will be a source for the system so that every time students make a request so there is no need for repetitive data requests. Furthermore the system can display a list of practicum course that have been taken by students as a recap for the laboratory. In the inventory process, the information system administration by itself will make reductions or additions to the stock of chemistry tools and chemicals.
