Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan set praktikum gelombang bunyi sebagai media pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran fisika SMA dan dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar fisika. Set praktikum gelombang bunyi yang dikembangkan berupa alat praktikum resonansi dan efek doppler. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 3 Tangerang Selatan pada kelas XII MIA 1. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan ADDIE untuk menganalisis, mendesain, mengembangkan, mengimplementasikan, dan mengevaluasi set praktikum. Uji kelayakan dilihat berdasarkan data hasil percobaan dan hasil validasi oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan guru fisika. Hasil validasi dari ahli materi yaitu 94,44%, dari ahli media 84,85%, dan guru fisika 94,10%. Hasil uji coba lapangan didapatkan ratarata persentase sebesar 82,07%. Uji keefektifan dilihat dari data motivasi belajar siswa sebelum (pre-test) dan sesudah (post-test) mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan set praktikum. Rata-rata motivasi belajar siswa sebelum menggunakan set praktikum gelombang bunyi sebesar 104,96 dan sesudah menggunakan set praktikum gelombang bunyi sebesar 122,70. Peningkatan skor pre-test dan post-test melalui uji N-Gain diperoleh sebesar 0,45 dengan intepretasi sedang. Dapat disimpulkan set praktikum gelombang bunyi berbasis soundcard pc/laptop layak digunakan dan efektif meningkatkan motivasi belajar fisika siswa SMA. This research aims to develop an experiment set of sound waves as a learning media in physics instructional of senior high school and can be used to increase motivation to learn physics. Sound wave experiment set which developed are practical tools of resonance and doppler effects. This research was conducted in SMAN 3 South Tangerang on the class XII MIA 1. This reseach used ADDIE approach to analyze, design, development, implement, and evaluate experiment set. Feasibility test based on experimental data and results of the validation by physics experts, media specialists, and teachers of physics.The result of physics expert are 94,44%, from media specialist are 84,85%, and from teacher are 94,10% . Results of field trials obtained an average percentage of 82.07%. Effectiveness test seen from the data of students' motivation before and after following instructional using experiment set. The average of student motivation before(pre-test) learning using experiment set is 104,96 and after (post-test) learning using experiment set is 122,70. Increasing skor between pre-test and post-test using N-Gain test is 0,45 with a moderate interpretation. It can be concluded that sound wave’s experiment set based on soundcard pc / laptop suitable for use and effective to improve student’s motivation to learn physics in senior high school.
