Abstract

Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan mendeskriptifkan (1) Pemahaman masyarakat tentang surat al-Maidah ayat 51 (2) respon atau tanggapan masyarakat tentang ucapan Ahok itu termasuk kedalam “penistaan agama” atau bukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah riset kepustakaan (library research) dan riset lapangan (field research) dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwasannya Pemahaman masyarakat muslim Kepulauan Seribu terkait kandungan makna surat al- Maidah ayat 51 masih belum merata bahkan baru mengetahui isi surat Al-Maidah Ayat 51 setelah kasus ini ramai diperbincangan. Masyarakat kepulauan yang sering diidentikkan dengan nelayan atau melaut sebagai pencaharian utama yang pada intinya menganggap mereka masih kelas dua atau menengah bila dibanding dengan masyarakat perkotaan. Agama yang berkembang di lingkungan masyarakat kepulauan pun demikian, kecenderungannya budaya atau kebiasaan di masyarakat desa tersebut pastilah mempengaruhi cara mereka beragama. Masyarakat muslim Kepulauan Seribu merespon peristiwa “penistaan agama” terhadap surat al-Maidah ayat 51. Mereka menganggap bahwa hal tersebut tidak termasuk ke dalam penistaan agama atau menodai kesucian dari kandungan surat al-Maidah itu sendiri. Mereka menganggap bahwa itu merupakan bentuk edukasi kepada masyarakat bahwa masih banyak orang yang berkampanye dengan menggunakan ayat Alquran untuk kepentingan kelompok atau golongan tertentu. The purpose of this paper is to analyze and describe (1) The society's understanding of the letter of al-Maidah verse 51 (2) the response or public response about Ahok's remarks is included in "blasphemy" or not.This research uses descriptive qualitative method with data collection used is library research and field research with observation data collection technique, interview and documentation. Based on the results of the study can be concluded that Understanding Muslim communities Thousand Islands related to the meaning of al-Maidah verse 51 is still not evenly even just find out the contents of Al-Maidah Surah Verse 51 after the case is busy discussed. An archipelago community that is often identified with fishermen or sea as the main livelihood which in essence thinks they are still second or middle class when compared with the urban community. Religion that develops in the archipelagic community, too, the tendency of culture or custom in the village community must have influenced the way they are religious. The Muslim community of the Thousand Islands responded to the "blasphemy" of al-Maidah verse 51. They assumed that it did not belong to religious blasphemy or tainted the sanctity of the al-Maidah letters themselves. They assume that it is a form of education to the public that there are still many people who campaign by using Qur'anic verses for the benefit of certain groups or groups.
