Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kebersyukuran terhadap optimisme pada ibu yang memiliki anak berkebutuhan khusus. Ibu mempunyai peran yang sangat penting bagi anak, terlebih lagi bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK). Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan skala psikologi. Sampel penelitian ini adalah ibu yang memiliki anak berkebutuhan khusus dengan total sampel sebanyak 80 ibu. Pada instrumen kebersyukuran yang diadaptasi dari kuesioner GRAT-R (Gratitude Resentment and Appreciation Test-Revised) sedangkan instrumen optimisme yang digunakan dibuat oleh peneliti dengan menggunakan teori optimisme Seligman. Teknik analisis statistik yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah analisis regresi dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 16.0. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara kebersyukuran terhadap optimisme pada ibu yang memiliki anak berkebutuhan khusus. Data yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa besar pengaruh kebersyukuran terhadap optimisme adalah 0,276 (27,6%) dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. This study is gain to know the influence between felling grateful against the optimistic of mother who has children with special needs. As we know, mother has an important responsibility to take care her children especially when she has children with special needs. The method of this study used quantitative research approach with psychology scale. There are 80 mother who has children with special needs become the subject of this study. GRAT-R (Gratitude Resentment and Appreciation Test-Revised) questioners is using to measure feeling grateful variable, while the optimistic variable measured by Seligman theory of optimistic. This study applied SPSS 16.0 software program to test hypothesis of study. The result of this study found that the grateful influenced to the optimistic of mother who has children with special needs. The coefficient correlation of this study is 0,276 which means that the grateful was influenced 27,6% against the optimistic while the rest of them was influenced with other factors
