Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match (mencari pasangan) pada kelas VIII-1 MTs Negeri 8 Jakarta dengan materi lingkaran. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti mengambil 3 indikator pembelajaran mengenai kemampuan koneksi matematis, yaitu menuliskan masalah kehidupan sehari-hari dalam bentuk model matematika, menuliskan konsep matematika yang mendasari jawaban, dan menuliskan hubungan antar obyek atau konsep matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang bersifat reflektif, yaitu melakukan tindakan tertentu agar dapat memperbaiki atau meningkatkan praktik pembelajaran di kelas secara lebih profesional. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan secara kolaboratif dan partisipatif, yaitu adanya kerja sama antara berbagai disiplin ilmu, keahlian, dan profesi dalam memecahkan masalah serta melibatkan khalayak sasaran dalam mengidentifikasi masalah, merencanakan, melaksanakan kegiatan, dan melakukan penilaian akhir. Tindakan dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus dengan setiap siklusnya terdiri dari 3 pertemuan. Pada setiap siklus, siswa diberikan tes akhir siklus untuk mengukur kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa. Instrumen bantu yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar tes awal, lembar tes hasil belajar siswa pada setiap siklus, pedoman wawancara guru dan siswa, lembar observasi, catatan lapangan, dan alat dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data yang dianalisis secara kuantitatif berupa data hasil tes akhir pada setiap siklus, sedangkan data yang dianalisis secara kualitatif berupa data hasil wawancara, observasi, dan catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika melalui model kooperatif tipe make a match dapat meningkatkan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa. Hal ini terlihat dari peningkatan nilai rata-rata tes akhir yang diberikan pada setiap siklus. Rata-rata nilai tes akhir kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa kelas VIII-1 pada siklus I adalah 60,39, pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 82,35, dan pada siklus III meningkat menjadi 87,60. Jumlah siswa kelas VIII-1 yang sudah mencapai KKM juga mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus I sebanyak 20,59% dari jumlah siswa, pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 79,41% dari jumlah siswa, dan meningkat menjadi 97,06% dari jumlah siswa pada siklus III. Jumlah subjek penelitian yang sudah mencapai KKM pada siklus I adalah 3 orang atau 50% dari jumlah subjek penelitian. Pada siklus II dan siklus III 100% siswa subjek penelitian memiliki nilai di atas KKM. ngetahuan Alam, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2016. This study aims to improve students' mathematical connection capabilities through the implementation of cooperative learning model make a match ( look for the pair ) in VIII- 1 MTs Negeri 8 Jakarta with loop material . In this study , researchers took three indicators of learning about mathematical connection capability , ie write the problem of everyday life in the form of mathematical models , write a mathematical concept that underlies the answer , and write down the relationship between object or mathematical concepts. This research is a classroom action research which is reflective , ie perform certain actions in order to improve or enhance classroom practice more professionally . This study was conducted in a collaborative and participatory , namely the cooperation between the various disciplines , skills and professions in solving the problem and involving the target audience in identifying problems , plan , carry out activities and conduct a final assessment . Actions carried out in three cycles with each cycle consisting of three meetings. In each cycle , students are given a final test cycle to measure students' mathematical connection capabilities . Auxiliary instrument used to collect data in this study is the initial test sheets , sheet test student learning outcomes in each cycle , interview teachers and students , observation sheets, field notes , and documentation tools . The data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively . Data were analyzed quantitatively in the form of test data at the end of each cycle , while the data were analyzed qualitatively in the form of data from interviews , observations , and field notes . The results showed that the learning of mathematics through cooperative models make a match can improve students' mathematical connections . This is evident from the increase in the average value of the final tests given in each cycle . The average value of the final test students' mathematical connection capabilities VIII- 1 in the first cycle was 60.39 , the second cycle increased to 82.35 , and the third cycle increased to 87.60 . Total class VIII - 1, which has already reached KKM also increased . In the first cycle as much as 20.59 % of the number of students in the second cycle increased to 79.41 % of the total number of students , and increased to 97.06 % of the total number of students in the third cycle . Number of research subjects who have reached KKM in the first cycle is 3 people or 50 % of the study subjects . In the second cycle and the third cycle of 100 % of students study subjects had scores above the KKM .
