Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan sikap kontrol diri siswa melalui pembelajaran PKn dengan menggunakan active learning tipe point counterpoint. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Rawamangun 09 Pagi Jakarta Timur yang berjumlah 28 siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan model Kemmis Mc. Taggart yang terdiri dari empat tahap dari setiap siklusnya, yaitu tahap perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan lembar pengamatan, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sikap kontrol diri siswa dapat meningkat melalui pembelajaran PKn berbasis active learning tipe point counterpoint. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan persentase sikap kontrol diri siswa pada siklus I mencapai 64,28% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 89,28%. Adapun persentase pemantau tindakan aktivitas guru dan siswa pada siklus I sebesar 75% dan 67,5%, kemudian aktivitas guru dan siswa pada siklus II meningkat sebesar 87,5% dan 82,5%. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah sikap kontrol diri siswa dapat meningkat melalui pembelajaran PKn berbasis active learning tipe point counterpoint di kelas V SDN Rawamangun 09 Pagi Jakarta Timur. This research aims to improve sel-control attitude of students through civic education learning by using active learning type of point counterpoint. Subject of the research is students fifth grade of SDN Rawamangun 09 Pagi East Jakarta with totaling 28 students. This method using classroom action research with model Kemmis Mc. Taggart consisting of four stages of each cycle, that is planning, action, observation, and reflection. The collecting techniques of the data in this research using observation sheets, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of this research indicate that self-control attitudes of students can be improved through civic education learning based active learning type of point counterpoint. This is indicated by the percentage of self-control attitudes of students in the first cycle reaches 64,28% and the second cycle increased to 89,28%. The percentage of monitors actions activity of teachers and students in the first cycle of 75% and 67.5%, then the activities of teachers and students in the second cycle increased by 87,5% and 82,5%. The implication of this research is the attitude of self-control can increase student learning civics through active learning based on the type of point counterpoint class V SDN Rawamangun 09 Pagi East Jakarta.
