Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran body image atlet perempuan di sekolah olahraga Ragunan Jakarta. Penelitian dilaksanakan sejak bulan Februari sampai dengan Juli 2017. Subjek penelitian ini berjumah 82 orang atlet siswa disekolah olahraga ragunan. Alat ukur penelitian ini menggunakan adaptasi instrumen MBSRQ-AS untuk mengukur body image. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat dikatakan jika para atlet perempuan disekolah olahraga Ragunan masih ada yang memiliki penilaian negatif terhadap body image dirinya. Walaupun pada umumnya para atlet sudah memiliki postur tubuh yang dianggap ideal karena proses latihan fisik yang dijalaninya tetapi dari hasil penelitian ini tidak semua atlet sudah memiliki konsep body image yang positif. The purpose of this research is describe body image of female athlete at Ragunan sport school Jakarta. The research was carried out from February to July 2017. The subject of this research was 82 students athletes at ragunan sport school. This measuring instrument uses an MBSRQ-AS instrument adaptation to measure body image. Based on the results of research it can conclude that the female athletes at Ragunan sports school is still there who have a negative assessment of body image himself. Although athletes generally have a posture that is considered ideal because the physical exercise process that lived but from the results of this study not all athletes already have a positive body image concept
