Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS di Kelas V SDN Penggilingan 05 Pagi Cakung Jakarta Timur melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Index Card Match. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Januari sampai dengan bulan Februari 2017 di SDN Penggilingan 05 Pagi Cakung Jakarta Timur dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas V-C yang berjumlah 31 siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian tindakan kelas dengan model siklus dari Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yang ditetapkan untuk mata pelajaran IPS adalah 65. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Index Card Match dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V-C SDN Penggilingan 05 Pagi Cakung Jakarta Timur karena siswa dapat belajar dengan aktif untuk mengikuti pembelajaran saat mencari pasangan kartu indeks mengenai materi yang telah disajikan oleh guru sehingga siswa lebih antusias mencari informasi yang ingin ia peroleh melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Index Card Match. Peningkatan hasil belajar tersebut ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan prosentase siswa yang mencapai KKM pada setiap siklus. Hasil belajar pada siklus I, rata-rata kelas adalah 58,87 dan siswa yang mencapai KKM sebanyak 20 siswa atau 64,51%. Kemudian pada siklus II nilai rata-rata kelas adalah 79,35 dan siswa yang mencapai KKM sebanyak 27 siswa atau 87,09%. Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Index Card Match dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu model mengajar guru untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa. This clasroom action research aims to improve learning outcomes social studies fifth grade students Elementary School Penggilingan 05 Pagi East Jakarta through cooperative models type Index Card Match. This research was conducted in January and ending in February 2017 at Elementary School Penggilingan 05 Pagi Cakung East Jakarta, with research subjects V-C graders totaling 31 students. The method used is the action research cycle model of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart which consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. This research was conducted in two cycles. Minimals completeness criteria defined for social studies is 65. The results showed that the application of cooperative models type Index Card Match can improve student learning outcomes social studies class V-C Elementary School Penggilingan 05 Pagi Cakung East Jakarta for more teachers to teach the material through the information provided by doing Index Card Match types that students are more enthusiastic to participate in learning. Improved learning outcomes, as shown by an increase in the percentage of students who reach KKM on each cycle. Learning outcomes in the first cycle, the average grade is 58,87 and students who reach KKM as many as 20 students or 64,51%. Then the second cycle of the average value of the class is 79,35 and students who reach minimal completeness criteria as many as 27 students or 87,09%. The results showed that an increase in student learning outcomes social studies. This suggest that cooperative models type Index Card Match as one models of teaching teachers to improve student learning outcomes social studies.
