Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk, berupa modul pembelajaran dalam bentuk modul cetak. Nama produk dari pengembangan ini adalah modul pembelajaran “Prinsip dan Teknik Dasar Merangkai Bunga”. Modul ini ditujukan untuk mahasiswa S1 Jurusan Tata Rias UNJ, semester empat pada mata kuliah Dekorasi Ruang Khusus Tata Rias. Modul pembelajaran “Prinsip dan Teknik Dasar Merangkai Bunga”, digunakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman materi dasar merangkai bunga untuk mahasiswa S1 Jurusan Tata Rias UNJ, semester empat pada mata kuliah Dekorasi Ruang Khusus Tata Rias. Secara khusus tujuan pengembangan ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tahapan pengembangan Dick & Carey yang terdiri dari sepuluh tahapan, untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran “Prinsip dan Teknik Dasar Merangkai Bunga”. Evaluasi pada penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan pendekatan evaluasi formatif, yang terdiri dari expert review (ahli materi dan ahli media), one to one, small group, dan field test. Evaluasi tersebut melibatkan 2 ahli materi, 1 ahli media dan 24 pengguna. Hasil dari masing-masing tahap, sebagai berikut: ahli materi 3,73 dan ahli media 3,33. one to one mendapatkan nilai 3,67 dan small group 3,26. Pada tahap field test mengalami peningkatan nilai, dari nilai 48 (pre test) menjadi 78 (post test). Berdasarkan proses dan prosedur dalam mengembangkan modul pembelajaran, serta ujicoba yang telah dilakukan dapat dinyatakan bahwa modul pembelajaran “Prinsip dan Teknik Dasar Merangkai Bunga”, memililki kualitas yang baik dan dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber belajar mandiri bagi mahasiswa S1 jurusan Tata Rias UNJ. This developmental research is aimed to result a product, such as learning modul in the form of printed module. The name of its product is learning module “Principle and Basic Technique of Arranging the Flower”. This module is addressed for bachelor students of forth semester majoring cosmetology in UNJ, who take the subject of Special Room Decoration of Cosmetology . This learning module is used for enhanching the understaning of basic material in arranging the flower for the bachelor students of forth semester majoring cosmetology in UNJ, who take the subject of Special Room Decoration of Cosmetology. Particularly, the objection og this development is to describe the deveopment stage of Dick and Carey that consists of ten stages for developing learning module of “Principle and Basic Technique of Arranging the Flower”. The evaluation of this research development uses formative evaluaton approach that consists of expert review (material/subject expert and media expert), one to one, small group, and field test. The evaluation involves 2 material experts, 1 media expert, and 24 users. The results of each stages are: material expert 3,73 and media expert 3,33. One to one gets score 3,67 and small group 3,26. In the field test stage, the score gains an increasing from 48 (pre test score) to 78 (post test score). Therefore, according to process and procedure in evolving the learning module, also trials that has been fulfilled, it is able to state that learning module of “Principle and Basic Technique of Arranging the Flower” has good quality and enabled to run as self-learning resource for bachelor students majoring cosmeticology of UNJ.
