Abstract

Boom excavator kelas 20 ton merupakan penopang dan tuas utama yang digunakan untuk penempatan (mounting) bagian-bagian penting excavator, menggerakkan arm naik turun, menahan beban dari arm, breaker, dan beban dari luar. Untuk itu, dilakukan analisis tegangan (stress analysis) menggunakan metode elemen hingga (finite element analysis) dengan bantuan software Autodesk Inventor Professional 2015. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tegangan pada desain mana yang lebih kuat dan aman antara boom excvavator kelas 20 ton unreinforcement, reinforcement versi engineer PT. PQR, dan reinforcement versi engineer PT. XYZ. Dimensi tinggi boom excavator kelas 20 ton 922 mm, tinggi boom excavator dari boom top ke arm hydraulic pin 1160 mm, dan panjang boom excavator 5700 mm. Simulasi dilakukan pada rancangan desain yang berbeda yaitu boom excvavator kelas 20 ton unreinforcement, reinforcement versi engineer PT. PQR, dan reinforcement versi engineer PT. XYZ. Ketiganya diberi beban dan tumpuan (restraints) yang sama yaitu 111687,001 N pada pin 1, 94165 N pada pin 2, dan 336842,440 N pada pin 3. Penentuan pin pada desain boom excavator kelas 20 ton yaitu dibagian rear boom dan center boom. Setelah proses analisis dilakukan, hasil menunjukan bahwa desain boom excavator kelas 20 ton reinforcement versi engineer PT. XYZ adalah yang paling kuat dan aman dilihat dari nilai safety factor 8.98691. 20 ton class boom excavator is the backbone and main lever used for placement (mounting) critical parts excavator, moving the arm up and down, take the weight of the arm, breaker, and the load from the outside. To that end, analysis of stress using the finite element method with the help of Autodesk Inventor Professional 2015. The purpose of this study was to analyze the stress of the design which is more strong and safety between the 20 ton class boom excvavator unreinforcement, reinforcement version of engineer PT. PQR, and reinforcement engineer PT. XYZ version. Height dimensional of 20 ton class boom excavator 922 mm, height of the boom top to boom excavator hydraulic arm pin 1160 mm and boom excavator long 5700 mm. Simulations carried out on the design of different designs that 20 ton class boom excavator unreinforcement, reinforcement version of engineer PT. PQR, and reinforcement engineer PT. XYZ version. All three were given the same loads and restraints is 111,687.001 N on pin 1, 94 165 N on pin 2, and 336,842.440 N on pin 3. Determining the pin on the design of boom excavator are rear section and center boom. After the analysis is done, the results showed that the design of reinforcement 20 ton class boom excavator engineer PT. XYZ version is the most strong and safety views on the safety factor value 8.98691.
