Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang peningkatan disiplin diri anak di sekolah, selain itu untuk membandingkan perbedaan disiplin diri anak berdasarkan latar belakang pekerjaan orang tua (ayah dan ibu). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis survei dan dengan pendekatan komparatif. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengambil sampel 98 dari 129 populasi dan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpulan data yang pokok. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Proportional Cluster Random Sampling dengan cara pengambilan sampel berdasarkan pengelompokkan. Hasil penelitian sesuai dengan hipotesis penelitian yang menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan disiplin diri anak berdasarkan latar belakang pekerjaan orang tua. Untuk Anova Satu Jalur (ayah) memperoleh nilai Fhitung = 4,17 sedangkan Ftabel = 3,09, nilai Fhitung >Ftabel (4,17>3,09). Anova Satu Jalur (ibu) memperoleh nilai Fhitung = 4,32 sedangkan Ftabel = 2,70, nilai Fhitung>Ftabel(4,32>2,70). The purpose of this study to gain an overview of the increase in self-discipline children at school, in addition to comparing the differences in child self-discipline based on the background work of parents (father and mother). The method used is the type of survey and the comparative approach. The study was conducted by taking a sample of 98 of the 129 population and using questionnaires as the main data collection tool. The sampling technique used is proportional cluster random sampling by means of sampling by grouping. The results of the study according to the hypothesis of research that shows there are differences in children's self-discipline based on the background work of parents. To Anova One Line (father) received grades of F = 4.17, while F table = 3.09, the value of F count> F table (4.17> 3.09). Anova One Line (mother) received grades of F = 4.32, while F table = 2.70, the value of F count> F table (4.32> 2.70).
