Abstract

Indonesia memiliki begitu banyak sekali kebudayan yang belum mampu dikenali seluruhnya oleh mayarakat. Beberapa kebudayaan yang banyak diketahui masyarakat mulai dari seni musik, seni tari, ragam hias dan juga kekayaan budaya dibidang cerita rakyat. Semakin majunya era globalisasi banyak masyarakat yang mulai melupakan cerita rakyat asli kebudayaan Indonesia. Hal ini mengakibatkan kurangnya rasa cinta seseorang terhadap budaya. Pada aspek teknologi masa kini terus mengalami peningkatan yang signnifikan untuk itu pemilihan sebuah karya fotografi dengan media photobook ini hadir dan mengangkat tema cerita rakyat khusunya budaya Betawi agar dapat bersaing dalam melestarikan kebudayaan asli Indonesia. Dengan adanya fotografi dalam media photobook ini dapat melestarikan sebuah cerita mitos rakyat Betawi dengan pada karya photostory . Indonesian has so many cultures that are not yet fully recognizable by the people. Some cultures are widely known to the public from the art of music, dance, decoration and cultural richness in the field of folklore. The more advanced era of globalization many people who began to forget the original folklore of Indonesian culture. This results in a lack of one's love for culture. In the aspect of today's technology continues to experience a significant improvement for the selection of a work of photography with the media photobook is present and raised the theme of folklore especially Betawi culture in order to compete in preserving indigenous culture of Indonesia. With the photography in this photo book media can preserve a Betawi people's mythical story with the work of photostory.
