Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah guru mengajarkan nilai-nilai karakter kepada peserta didik dalam pembelajaran bahasa Prancis melalui buku ajar bahasa Prancis “Apprenons le Français! 1” Kelas X SMA. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Objek penelitian ini adalah buku ajar Bahasa Prancis “Apprenons le Français! 1” Kelas X SMA yang digunakan dibeberapa Sekolah Menengah Atas di Jakarta. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa materi ajar dalam bentuk percakapan yang terdapat dalam buku ajar Bahasa Prancis “Apprenons le Français! 1” Kelas X SMA. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik simak dan catat. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah penulis sendiri. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa melalui buku ajar bahasa prancis “Apprenons le Français! 1” Kelas X SMA dapat ditanamkan beberapa karakter dalam pembelajaran. Adapun karakter tersebut yaitu, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kreatif, kerja keras, mandiri, rasa ingin tahu, menghargai prestasi, komunikatif/bersahabat, gemar membaca, peduli sosial, dan tangung jawab. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu pendidik dalam memahami karakter peserta didik dan juga dapat membantu dalam pembentukan karakter pada peserta didik. This research aims to find and describe how the teacher educates the values of character to the students in French learning through the methode “Apprenons le français! 1” Class X Senior High School. This research used the descriptive qualitative approach with content analysis method from Milles & Huberman's data analysis theory to obtain its data, that respectively consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The data obtained then go through the verification process. The instrument of the research is the writer herself. The result of this research shows that from the methode “Apprenons le français! 1” Class X Senior High School can be implemented the values of character in the learning process. Although that character is honest, tolerance, discipline, creative, hard work, independent, curiosity, communicative, sympathy, responsibility. The author expects that this research can be useful for having a profound comprehension about the character learning and to understand the character of the students. And also, this can be useful for developing character to the students.
