Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis ungkapan tabu yang terdapat dalam komik Mauvais Genre karya Chloé Cruchaudet dan maknanya dalam konteks kalimatnya. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan menggunakan teknik analisis data oleh Miles dan Huberman yang terbagi menjadi tiga, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk menganalisis ungkapan tabu dalam komik Mauvais Genre, data yang terkumpul diinterpretasikan menurut teori Widlak yang membagi jenis ungkapan tabu menjadi empat. Adapun empat jenis ungkapan tabu tersebut adalah tabu dalam ranah kepercayaan, tabu dalam ranah kesusilaan, tabu dalam ranah kesopanan, dan tabu dalam ranah kehati-hatian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 38 kutipan yang mengandung ungkapan tabu. Dari 38 data tersebut, ditemukan ungkapan tabu dalam ranah kesopanan sebanyak 23 data, 15 ungkapan tabu dalam ranah kesusilaan, tidak terdapat ungkapan tabu dalam ranah kehati-hatian dan tidak ditemukan ungkapan tabu dalam ranah kepercayaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa di dalam komik tersebut mengandung jenis- jenis ungkapan tabu. This study aims to determine the types of taboo expressions contained in the comic Mauvais Genre by Chloé Cruchaudet and their meaning in the context of the sentence. This research method is qualitative with the descriptive approach and using data analysis technique by Miles and Huberman which is divided into three, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. To analyze the taboo phrase in Mauvais Genre comics, the collected data is interpreted according to Widlak's theory which divides the type of taboo expression into four. The four types of taboo expression are taboo in the realm of belief, taboo in the realm of decency, taboo in the realm of decency, and taboo in the realm of caution. The results of this study indicate that there are 38 citations containing taboo expressions. Of the 38 data, found taboo expression in the domain of politeness as much as 23 data, 15 expressions taboo in the domain of decency, there is no taboo expression in the domain of prudence and not found taboo expression in the domain of faith. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that in the comic contains the types of taboo expression.
