Abstract
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil penilaian produk hijab dengan teknik suminagashi sebagai usaha pembuatan motif yang dinilai oleh lima orang panelis. Produk hijab dibuat sebanyak empat buah produk dengan warna dan hasil motif berbeda yang dinilai berdasarkan mutu, ciri, dan desain produk. Prosedur pengumpulan data melalui tahap wawancara dengan empat orang panelis ahli dalam bidang desain dan satu orang dalam bidang industri kreatif. Penelitian dilakukan di Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Busana, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Jakarta pada bulan Juli 2017. Hasil penelitian penilaian berupa deskripsi data menunjukkan bahwa tiga dari empat produk hijab dengan teknik suminagashi telah sesuai dengan teori penilaian yang dinilai berdasarkan mutu, ciri dan desain produk. This research is descriptive research with qualitative approach. The purpose of this research is to know the result of assessment of hijab product with suminagashi technique as effort of making motif which is assessed by five panelists. Hijab products are made up of four products with different colors and motifs that are judged on the quality, features, and product design. The data collection procedure is through an interview stage with four expert panelists in the field of design and one in the creative industr The study was conducted in the Study Program of Education of Dress Fashion, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Jakarta in July 2017. The results of the assessment in the form of data descriptions indicate that three of the four hijab products with the suminagashi technique have been in accordance with the assessment theory assessed based on the quality, characteristics and product design.
