Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh dari penggunaan masker Brokoli untuk perawatan kulit wajah kering terhadap kadar peningkatan kelembapan. Manfaat dari penelitian ini yaitu menambah teori baru dan pengetahuan kegunaan sayuran brokoli untuk kecantikan, khususnya untuk melembabkan kulit wajah melalui suatu pembuktian ilmiah. Populasi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu kulit wajah kering wanita dewasa berusia 35-45 tahun, pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara purposive sampling, dimana pengambilan sampel dilakukan berdasarkan ciri-ciri atau sifat populasi yang telah diketahui sebelumnya dan sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 10 sampel yang dibagi dalam dua kelompok perlakuan, 5 kulit wajah kering wanita yang menggunakan masker brokoli sebagai kelompok penelitian dan 5 kulit wajah kering wanita yang menggunakan masker beras merah sebagai kelompok kontrol. Masing-masing mendapatkan perlakuan sebanyak 8 kali dalam waktu 2 kali seminggu selama 4 minggu. Berdasarkan deskripsi teoritis maka dapat dirumuskan hipotesis penelitian: terdapat pengaruh dari perawatan kulit wajah yang menggunakan masker brokoli terhadap hasil kelembapan kulit wajah kering Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen. Penelitian ini menggunkaan instrumen lembar penelitian dengan nilai pada proses perawatan dengan menggunakan alat skin analyzer test. Setelah diperoleh data hasil penelitian, dilakukan uji persyaratan analisis data dengan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas menggunakan uji t rata-rata satu pihak. Analisis data menunjukkan thitung = 8.20 pada taraf signifikansi ߙ = 0.05 dan dk = 8 maka ttabel = 1.86 dimana berarti thitung > ttabel maka hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak. Dengan demikian terdapat pengaruh penggunaan masker brokoli sebagai masker wajah terhadap kelembapan kulit wajah kering. *The purpose of this study was to identify wheathe there is any effect of the use of Broccoli masks for a dry facial skin care to the increasing of moisture level. benefit of the research is add a new theory knowledge about the usefulness of broccoli for beauty, especially for moisturizing thr skin through scientific evidence. The population of this study was type dr face skin adult women aged 30-40 years old. Sampling was done by purposive sampling where sampling was conducted based on the physical appeareance or characteristic of the population that have been previously known and in accordance with the purpose of resarch. The total of the sampel was 10 sampel, diveded into two treatment groups. 5 dry face skin women use broccoli masks as the research group and the other 5 dry face skin women use brown rice as the control group. Each group received 8 treatments for 4 weeks and the treatment was done twice a week. Based in the theoretical description, it can be formulated the research hypothesis: there is the influence of facial skin care using broccoli against the moisture result on the dry facial skin. The method used in this study was experimental method. The study used assessment sheet instruments in which the value in the treatment process by using a skin analyzer test. After obtaining research data, data analysis requirements of normality and homogenity test was done by using test average of one party. Data analysis showed tcounted = 8.20 on the level of significance ߙ = 0.05 and dk = 8 so ttable = 1.86 in which tcounted > ttable so the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. Thus there is the effect of the use of broccoli masks as a facial mask for dry facial skin moisture.
