Abstract
Beberapa perupa muda dalam berkeseniannya cenderung bersikap tertutup dan kurang siap meningkatkan diri ke jenjang seniman profesional terintegrasi dalam pranata seni (art world) di Indonesia. Art world merupakan jejaring masyarakat seni yang saling terkait satu sama lain. Salah satu penyangga dalam dunia seni adalah lelang lukis artfordable yang berperan penting dalam memutar roda kehidupan seni rupa khususnya seniman maverick dan mendistribusikan karya mereka melalui lelang. Salah satu upaya meningkatkan peran serta perupa muda di pranata seni perlu upaya edukasi apresiatif melalui pelelangan lukisan artfordable di Sidharta Auctioneer. Konsep lelang artfordable di Sidharta Auctioneer bermaksud membuka batasan balai lelang tidak hanya sebagai tempat jual beli barang seni untuk kalangan high class saja, baik bagi vendor ataupun peserta lelang. Sidharta Autioneer memberi kesempatan kepada perupa muda untuk memperkenalkan karya mereka kepada publik yang lebih luas dikalangan kolektor, pengelola galeri, dealer seni, bahkan spekulan. Penelitian ini mengkaji dan menemukan kegiatan apa saja dalam lelang artfordable di Sidharta Auctioneer yang mengandung atau memberikan nilai edukasi apresiasi dan faktor-faktor kegiatan lelang artfordable mengandung atau memberikan nilai edukasi apresiasi bagi perupa muda. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan aspek yang diteliti meliputi pelelangan lukisan artfordable di Sidharta Auctioneer dan hubungannya dengan nilai-nilai edukasi apresiasi bagi perupa muda. Tempat berlangsungnya lelang lukis artfordable di SCBD (Sudirman Central Business District) Kuningan Jakarta. Sumber data yang dimanfaatkan berasal dari observasi, studi dokumentsi, dan wawancara dengan narasumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa faktor-faktor yang memberikan nilai edukasi apresiatif yaitu adanya proses kurasi dan pameran, proses bidding karya pada lelang dan sale result pada pascalelang. Proses feeling berperan dalam merespon perasaan terhadap proses pralelang dan lelang. Empaty, pengahayatan terhadap proses pralelang dan lelang. Valuing, proses menilai terhadap sale result pada saat pascalelang. Sasaran nilai edukasi difokuskan pada respon apresiatif perupa muda terhadap karya lukis yang dilelang, proses lelang dan selera kolektor serta bidding terhadap karya mereka. Dengan demikian terjadi perubahan sikap apresiatif dari seniman maverick ke seniman profesional terintegrasi dengan pranata seni. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi sumber belajar tentang sisi lain dari aktivitas berkesenian yakni „lelang‟, sehingga masyarakat khususnya perupa muda dapat memahami nilai-nilai edukasi apresiatif aktivitas tersebut. Some young artists in the art tend to be closed and less ready to improve themselves to the level of professional artists integrated in the art institution (art world) in Indonesia. Art world is a network of art communities that are interconnected with each other. One buffer in the world of art is artfordable painting auctions that play an important role in turning the wheel of art life, especially maverick artists and distributing their work through the auction. One of the efforts to increase the role of young artists in the arts institution needs an appreciative educational effort through the auction of artfordable paintings in Sidharta Auctioneer. The concept of artfordable auctions in Sidharta Auctioneer intends to open the auction border not only as a place to buy art goods for high class only, either for vendors or bidders. Sidharta Autioneer provides an opportunity for young artists to introduce their work to the wider public among collectors, gallery managers, art dealers, and even speculators. This study examines and finds any activity in an artfordable auctions at Sidharta Auctioneer containing or giving educational value of appreciation and artfordable auction activities factors containing or giving educational value of appreciation for young artists. The research approach used is qualitative descriptive with aspects studied include the auction of artfordable paintings in Sidharta Auctioneer and its relationship with the values of educational appreciation for young artists. The venue of artfordable painting auction at SCBD (Sudirman Central Business District) Kuningan Jakarta. Sources of data used are derived from observations, documentary studies, and interviews with resource persons. The results showed that the factors that gave appreciative educational value were the curation and exhibition process, the bidding process of the work on the auction and sale result on pascalelang. The process of feeling plays a role in responding to feelings of preluk and auction processes. Empaty, awareness of prelucal process and auction. Valuing, the process of assessing the Sale result at the time pascalelang. The educational value targets focused on the appreciation of young artists towards the paintings auctioned, the auction process and the tastes of collectors and the bidding of their work. Thus there is a change of appreciative attitude from maverick artist to professional artist integrated with artistic institution. This study is expected to be a source of learning about the other side of the art activity that is 'auction', so that the community, especially young artists can understand the values of educational appreciative activities.
