Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan hasil belajar melalui metode cooperative learning tipe talking stick pada siswa kelas IV SDN Karet 04 Pagi Setiabudi Jakarta Selatan dengan sample berjumlah 40 siswa. Menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) yang terdiri dari 2 siklus dengan 4 kegiatan utama yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase perolehan data hasil belajar IPS pada pra siklus 40%. Kemudian pada siklus I persentase hasil belajar mencapai 60%. Siklus II menunjukkan signifikan yaitu 100%. untuk nilai rata-rata hasil belajar IPS pada pra siklus 57%. Kemudian pada siklus I mencapai 67%. Siklus II menunjukkan kenaikan yang signifikan yaitu 74%. Adapun data untuk pemantau tindakan pembelajaran melalui metode cooperative learning tipe talking stick pada kegiatan guru siklus I diperoleh persentase 71% dan pada siklus II mencapai peningkatan hingga 93%. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat simpulkan bahwa melalui metode cooperative learning tipe talking stick dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Kesimpulannya adalah bahwa pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial melalui metode cooperative learning tipe talking stick dapat dijadikan metode pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kelas IV SDN Karet 04 Pagi Setiabudi Jakarta Selatan The purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes Cocial Sience through cooperative learning type of talking stick in the fourth grade students of SDN 04 Karet Pagi Setiabudi, South Jakarta with a sample of 40 students. Using action research method (classroom action research), which consists of 2 cycles with four main activities: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results showed the percentage of data acquisition on the results of social studies 40% precycle. Then in the first cycle of learning outcomes percentage reaches 60%. Cycle II showed significantly by 100%. to the average value of the results of social studies on pre-cycle 57%. Then on the first cycle reaches 67%. Cycle II showed a significant rise, with 74%. The data for monitoring action learning through cooperative learning type teacher talking stick on the activities of the first cycle obtained by percentage of 71% and in the second cycle to achieve improved up to 93%. From the results, it can be concluded that through cooperative learning type of talking stick can improve learning outcomes Social Sciences. The conclusion is that the learning of Social Sciences through cooperative learning methods can be used as a talking stick-type learning methods to improve learning outcomes grade IV SDN Karet 04 Pagi Setiabudi, South Jakarta.
