Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode Suggestopedia terhadap kemampuan menulis puisi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Jakarta Pusat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tahun ajaran 2016/2017 semester kedua pada bulan April di kelas VIII. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan design control group menggunakan rancangan prates dan pascates (Pretest dan Postest Design) dua kelompok. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh Fhitung = 1,978 berdasarkan distribusi dengan dk = 34 dan taraf signifikan 0,05 diperoleh Ftabel = 2,258, dari hasil tersebut diperoleh Fhitung < Ftabel. Dengan demikian, populasi memiliki varians yang homogen. Uji liliefors digunakan sebagai uji normalitas. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh Lhitung = 0,132 berdasarkan distribusi dengan dk = 34 dan taraf signifikan 0,05 diperoleh Ltabel = 0,150 untuk kelas eksperimen, sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol diperoleh Lhitung = 0,122 dan Ltabel = 0,150 dari hasil tersebut diperoleh Lhitung < Ltabel. Dengan demikian, populasi berdistribusi normal. Berdasarkan perhitungan Uji-t, diperoleh thitung sebesar 3,602 pada dk = 68 dalam taraf signifikasi (α) sebesar 0,05, sedangkan ttabel diperoleh melalui interpolasi sebesar 1,995, maka 3,602 > 1,995 sehingga hipotesis diterima. Rata�rata kemampuan menulis teks puisi siswa kelas eksperimen adalah 79-84 lebih tinggi dari kemampuan menulis teks puisi pada kelas kontrol yang hanya mencapai rata-rata 67-72. Oleh sebab itu, terdapat pengaruh metode Suggestopedia terhadap kemampuan menulis teks puisi siswa kelas VIII SMP 2 Jakarta pusat. Implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, guru dapat menggunakan metode Suggestopedia dalam menulis teks puisi yang koheren sesuai dengan karakteristik teks yang akan dibuat baik secara lisan maupun secara tulisan. Metode Suggestopedia dapat membantu siswa mempunyai suggesti yang positif dalam menulis teks puisi hingga muncul imajinasi-imajinasi dan ide dalam bebas mencipta. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar para guru menggunakan metode Suggestopedia sebagai alternatif dalam mengajar, metode ini dapat membantu siswa mempermudah dalam mengembangkan ide yang menjadi kreatif dan variatif. This research aims to know the influence of Suggestopedia method against the ability of writing poetry students of class VIII SMP Negeri 2, Central Jakarta. Average writing skills text poetry students class experiments was 79-84 higher than the ability to write the text of the poem on the control class which only achieved an average of 67-72. Therefore, there is the influence of Suggestopedia method against the text of the poem writing skills of students of class VIII Junior 2, Central Jakarta. The implications for learning Indonesian Language, teachers can use the methods of Suggestopedia in writing a coherent poem text in accordance with the characteristics of the text to be made either orally or in writing. Suggestopedia method can help students have a positive suggesti in writing the text of the poems to appear the imagination-imagination and ideas in free invented. The study recommends that teachers use as alternative methods of Suggestopedia in teaching, this method can help students ease in developing the idea of being creative and varied.
