Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh teknik clustering dengan media kartu kata terhadap kemampuan menulis teks cerpen. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 22 Jakarta selama Juli 2017. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak untuk mendapatkan satu kelas eksperimen dan satu kelas kontrol. Tiap kelas terdiri dari 30 siswa. Uji persyaratan analisis dilakukan melalui uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Untuk uji normalitas digunakan uji Lilifors. Dari hasil perhitungan, diperoleh Lo untuk kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,130 dan Lo untuk kelas kontrol sebesar 0,050. Lt yang didapat pada taraf signifikasi 0,05 sebesar 0,161. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal karena Lo < Lt. Untuk uji homogenitas digunakan uji Barlett. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh X2 hitung sebesar 2,86. Berdasarkan daftar distribusi kuadrat dengan dk = 58 pada taraf signifikasi 1-α = 0,05 diperoleh X2 tabel sebesar 42,557. Jadi, sampel memiliki varians yang homogen. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji-t. Diperoleh thitung sebesar 2,66 pada dk = 58 dan taraf signifikasi 0,05 diperoleh ttabel sebesar 1,67 dengan thitung (2,66) > ttabel (1,67). Ho ditolak dan Hi diterima. Dengan demikian, hipotesis penelitian yang menyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh teknik clustering dengan media kartu kata terhadap kemampuan menulis teks cerpen pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 22 Jakarta diterima. Penelitian ini memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa khususnya dalam menulis teks cerpen. Di samping itu, penggunaan teknik clustering dengan media kartu kata dapat digunakan juga dalam menulis teks puisi. Penggunaan teknik clustering dengan media kartu kata merupakan sebuah cara belajar yang aktif, kreatif, dan inovatif yang dapat memberikan rangsangan bagi siswa agar mereka dapat berimajinasi dan lebih mudah menuangkan ide dalam teks cerpen. Penggunaan teknik clustering dengan media kartu kata mudah untuk diaplikasikan oleh guru-guru agar proses belajar mengajar dapat lebih bervariasi dan menarik. Research aims to understand the influence of technique clustering by the cards of the ability of write the text short stories. This research was conducted in SMA 22 Jakarta during July 2017. The research method used is experimental method. Sampling was done randomly to obtain one experimental class and one control class. Each class consists of 30 students. Test requirements analysis is done through normality test and homogeneity test. For normality test used Lilifors test. From the calculation results, obtained Lo for the experimental class of 0.130 and Lo for the control class of 0.050. Lt obtained at the 0.05 significance level of 0.161. It can be concluded that the data is normally distributed because Lo <Lt. For homogeneity test used Barlett test. From the calculation results obtained X2count of 2.86. Based on the quadratic distribution list with dk = 58 at the significance level of 1-α = 0.05 obtained X2tabel of 42.557. Thus, the sample has a homogeneous variance. Hypothesis test is then done by using t-test. Obtained tcount of 2.66 at dk = 58 and the significance level of 0.05 obtained tcable of 1.67 with tcount (2.66)> ttable (1.67). Ho rejected and Hi accepted. Thus, the hypothesis of research that states that there is the influence of clustering techniques with word card media on the ability to write short story text on students of class XI SMA Negeri 22 Jakarta accepted. This study has a positive effect on student learning outcomes, especially in writing short story text. In addition, the use of clustering techniques with word card media can be used also in writing poetry text. The use of clustering techniques with the word card media is an active, creative, and innovative way of learning that can provide stimulation for students so they can imagine and more easily put ideas in short story text. The use of clustering technique with word card media is easy to be applied by teachers so that the learning process can be more varied and interesting.
