Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui struktur kepribadian tokoh utama dalam novel Rembulan Tenggelam di Wajahmu karangan Tere Liye. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif berdasarkan analisis isi. Pelaksanaan penelitian dari bulan Januari sampai dengan Agustus 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori psikoanalisis Sigmund Freud untuk mengkaji struktur kepribadian yang terdiri atas id, ego, dan superego. Hasil penelitian yang ditemukan yaitu, struktur kepribadian tokoh Ray dalam novel Rembulan Tenggelam di Wajahmu karangan Tere Liye didominasi oleh dorongan sistem id sehingga kepribadiannya cenderung impulsif dan primitif. Struktur kepribadian Ray memiliki sistem id yang kuat, sedangkan ego dan superego lemah, maka Ray terus menerus melakukan pemuasan kebutuhan tanpa memandang layak atau tidak layak untuk dilakukan. Ray memiliki kepribadian yang ambisius karena pada struktur kepribadiannya id mendominasi dari sistem ego dan sistem superego yang lemah. Implikasi yang dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran di sekolah mengenai struktur kepribadian tokoh utama dalam novel Rembulan Tenggelam di Wajahmu karangan Tere Liye sesuai dengan Kurikulum 2013 Revisi KD 3.9 menganalisis isi dan kebahasaan novel, serta KD 4.9 merancang novel atau novelet dengan memperhatikan isi dan kebahasaan. This research aims to know the structure of the personality of the main character in the novel the Rembulan Tenggelam di Wajahmu wreath of Tere Liye. This research uses qualitative descriptive method based on the analysis of the contents. Implementation of research from January until August 2017. This research uses theories of psychoanalysis Sigmund Freud to examine the structure of the personality of the id, ego, and superego. The research found that the structure of the personality of the character Ray in the novel the Rembulan Tenggelam di Wajahmu wreath of Tere Liye is dominated by impulse system id so that his personality tends to be impulsive and primitive. The structure of personality Ray has a strong system of id, ego and superego while weak, then Ray continuously perform the gratification of needs regardless of worth or not worth to do. Ray has an ambitious personality because of the structure of personality to dominate from the system id ego and superego of a weak system. The implications of that could be applied in learning in school about the structure of the personality of the main character in the novel the Rembulan Tenggelam di Wajahmu of Tere Liye in accordance with Curriculum Revision 2013 KD 3.9 analyze linguistic content and novel, as well as the KD 4.9 designing novel or novelet with attention to content and linguistic.
