Abstract
This study aims to obtain data about the influence of experience on the knowledge of herbal medicine maker in carrying herbal carrying in the Village Lenteng Agung District Jagakarsa South Jakarta. The method used in this research is survey method with quantitative approach. The sample of this research as many as 30 herbal medicine makers carrying in the research location with sampling technique is incidental sampling technique. The data were collected using questionnaire instruments consisting of 33 questions for the knowledge variable and 8 questions for the Experience Variables. The knowledge variable is measured from the Knowing Understanding and Application aspect. Variable Experience is viewed based on the length of time / period of work, Training / learning, Other experiences. Testing instrument validity using expert opinion (judgment expert), then tested on 10 respondents by using product moment correlation and tested reliability using Alpha Combath formula. The result of the research is analyzed by using Normality Test of Estimation Error, Regression Linearity Test and Test of Regression Meaning. Hypothesis test is done by using t test. The results showed if there is influence between the experience of herbal medicine maker carrying with the knowledge in making herbal carrying. The value of t count is 4,143, while ttable at level of significance 0,05 with degree of freedom (n-2) is 28 equal to 2,05. The results of regression correlations found that knowledge was influenced by 38% experience. The contribution is 0.616 and that includes contributions that fall within the high correlation level as it ranges from 0.600 to 0.800.
