Abstract

Warga belajar pendidikan kesetaraan kebanyakan adalah orang dewasa. Para tutor umumnya tahu tentang konsep belajar orang dewasa, masalahnya belum semua tutor terampil menggunakan dan menerapkan konsep belajar orang dewasa dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan, membuktikan secara empiris, dan mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dilakukan tutor di PKBM ditinjau dari konsep belajar orang dewasa. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data di peroleh melalui penyebaran angket terbuka dan wawancara tidak terstruktur kepada tutor yang aktif dalam program pembelajaran di PKBM. Penelitian ini dilakukan di PKBM 23 Kebon Melati Jakarta Pusat, terhitung dari bulan April s.d Juni 2015. Subyek penelitian ini adalah seluruh tutor yang aktif dalam program pembelajaran PKBM yang berjumlah 7 orang. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dilakukan tutor telah berjalan dengan cukup baik. Dalam pelaksanaannya tutor memakai beragam metode yang disesuaikan oleh warga belajar, penggunaan media belum maksimal karena sebagian tutor masih dominan hanya memakai modul pembelajaran, selain itu tutor memahami karakteristik warga belajar sehingga permasalahan dalam pembelajaran dapat teratasi terutama bagi warga belajar yang bekerja tutor memberikan solusi dengan memberi tugas mandiri berupa soal-soal sehingga warga belajar tetap dapat mengikuti materi pembelajaran, pemberian motivasi menjadi agenda rutin dua minggu sekali yang diberikan oleh kepala kantor PKBM tujuannya agar warga belajar lebih termotivasi dalam belajar. Walaupun begitu proses pembelajaran belum sepenuhnya efektif karena pembelajaran masih bersifat konfesional dan penerapan andragogi belum maksimal. *********** The most people who learn educational equality is adults. Generally, all of tutors know about the concept of education for adults. However, the problem is they do not have skill to use and apply the concept of education for adults in learning.This study aimed to describe, to demonstrate empirically, and to know how the tutors can understand of the concept of adults in learning. The research method is qualitative descriptive research. The data obtained through an open questionnaire and unstructured interviews to the active tutors in the learning program at PKBM.The research was conducted at PKBM 23 Kebon Melati, Central Jakarta, commencing from april to june 2015. The subject of research is the active tutors in PKBM learning program which amounted 7 people. The result of this study can be concluded that the tutors’ implementation of learning has gone quite well. In the learning process, the tutors use the variety of methods that adapted to the condition of the learners, the use of media is not maximized because most tutors still dominant only use the learning modules. Furthermore, the tutors apprehend the characteristic of the learners, so that, the problem of the learning can be resolved. Especially, the tutors provide a solution with an independent assignment in the form of questions, so that, the learners still can follow the learning materials. Providing motivation become a regular schedule for 2 weeks given by the head office of PKBM. It is intended that learners are more motivated to learn, eventhough the learning process is not yet fully effective because it is still conventional and andragogy application is not maximized.
