Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh citra tubuh terhadap penerimaan diri. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan penelitian survei. Peneliti menggunakan instrumen yang diadaptasi, yaitu Berger’s Self-Acceptance Scale dan Multidimensional Body-Self Relation Quesionnaire (MBSRQ) yang telah dimodifikasi oleh peneliti. Instrumen ini telah diuji coba kepada 50 siswi SMA di Jakarta. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 388 responden yaitu siswi SMA yang bersekolah di Jakarta Selatan. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Multiphase Cluster Random Sampling. Metode pengolahan data dalam pengujian hipotesis adalah uji analisis regresi. Uji validitas pada instrumen ini dengan melihat nilai r kriteria, dan uji reliabilitas pada instrumen ini dengan melihat nilai Alpha Cronbach. Uji normalitas dengan metode Kolmogorov-Smirnov dan uji linieritas dengan menggunakan metode curve estimation. Pendistribusian data tergolong normal dan terdapat hubungan yang linier antara kedua variabel. Selain itu, hasil R square menunjukkan angka 0.033 (3,3%) artinya citra tubuh mempengaruhi penerimaan diri sebanyak 3,3% dan 96,7% dipengaruhi faktor lain. ********* This research is been doing to knowledge the impact of body image on self-acceptance of girl’s senior high school. The researcher are using a quantitative research and a survey research. The researcher are using a measuring equipment such as an instrument who adapted, that is Berger’s Self-Acceptance Scale dan Multidimensional Body-Self Relation Quesionnaire which then modificate by the researcher. This instrument has been tested by 50 girl’s senior high school in Jakarta. This sample has 388 respondents of girl’s senior high school who attended in South Jakarta schools. For the sampling tehnicque, we use nonprobability sampling by the type Multiphase Cluster Random Sampling. For the data processing methods in hypothesis testing we use Regression Analysis Test. Validity test on this instruments is by seeing the R value of the Alpha Conbach. Before we doing an hypothesis testing, the researchers do some normality test by using Kolmogorov-Smirnov methods and linearity test by using a curve estimation methods. The data rationing is normal and that has been a linear connection between this two variables. Moreover, the result of R square value is show that the number 0,333 (3,33%) that means that the body image are affect the self-acceptance as much as 3,3% and the 96,7% are affect by other matters
