Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam menggerakkan warga sekolah, memberi motivasi warga sekolah, memberi teladan kepada warga sekolah, dan efek dari kepemimpinannya tersebut dalam rangka Implementasi Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah (MBS) di SMK Negeri 26 Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan adalah wawancara, pengamatan dan studi dokumentasi. Adapun hasil penelitian ini adalah, 1) peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam menggerakkan warga sekolah, yaitu dengan cara memberikan keteladanan, pendekatan personal yang bersahabat, dan melalui rapat rutin. 2) peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam memberikan motivasi dengan cara memberikan semangat, pujian, dan memberikan perhatian yang lebih untuk membantu pemenuhan kebutuhan warga sekolah dalam menjalankan tugas. 3) peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam memberikan teladan kepada warga sekolah melakukannya dengan cara datang lebih pagi, membudayakan salaman setiap pagi, memberi contoh sebelum menyuruh atau memberikan intruksi, komitmen terhadap jam mengajar, berpakaian rapih, dan pulang lebih lama. 4) efek dari peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, yaitu terbangunnya suasana iklim kekeluargaan yang disiplin, rapih, prestatif dan produktif di sekolah ini. Hal ini membantu memudahkan sekolah dalam mencapai tujuannya dalam rangka implementasi MBS. This study aims to determine the principal's leadership in moving the school community, motivating the school community, gave the example of the school community, and effect of the leadership in the framework of implementation of the School Based Management (MBS) at SMK Negeri 26 Jakarta. The method used is descriptive method with qualitative approach. The technique used is interview, observation and documentation study. The results of this study are, 1) the principal's leadership role in moving the school community, in particular by giving exemplary, friendly personal approach, and through regular meetings. 2) the principal's leadership role in providing the motivation by providing encouragement, praise, and give more attention to help meet the needs of the school community in performing their duties. 3) the principal's leadership role in providing an example to the citizens of school do so in a way come in early, cultivate shake every morning, giving examples of prior order or giving instructions, commitment to teaching hours, dress neatly, and home longer. 4) the effect of the role of school leadership, namely the establishment of the atmosphere of familial climate disciplined, neat, prestatif and productive at this school. This helps facilitate the school in achieving its objectives in the context of the implementation of MBS.
