Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah investasi dan pertumbuhan ekonomi memiliki pengaruh terhadap ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan di Indonesia tahun 2011-2-14. Metode penelitian yang digunakan berbentuk data Time Series dari tahun 2011-2014 dan Cross Section berjumlah 33 Provinsi di Indonesia. Data di sajikan setiap tahun yang diperoleh dari BPS (Badan Pusat Statistik) serta BKPM (Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal). Penelitian ini menggunakan model regresi yang diperoleh persamaan hasil random effect INE = 0,324 + 0,001LogX1 + 0,007X2. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa secara simultan investasi dan pertumbuhan ekonomi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan. Sedangkan secara parsial pengaruh investasi hubungannya negatif namun tidak signifikan terhadap ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan. Selanjutnya pengaruh pertumbuhan ekonomi terhadap ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan. This study aims to determine whether investment and economic growth have an influence on the inequality of income distribution in Indonesia in 2011-2-14. The research method used is in the form of Time Series data from 2011-2014 and Cross Section totaling 33 Provinces in Indonesia. Data is presented annually obtained from BPS (Central Statistics Agency) and BKPM (Investment Coordinating Board). This study uses a regression model which obtained the equation of the results of random effects INE = 0.324 + 0.001LogX1 + 0.007X2. The results showed that simultaneous investment and economic growth had a significant effect on the inequality of income distribution. Whereas partially the effect of investment is negatively related but not significant to the inequality of income distribution. Furthermore, the influence of economic growth on the inequality of income distribution has a positive and significant influence
