Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penghargaan finansial, pengakuan profesional, nilai sosial, lingkungan kerja, dan pertimbangan pasar kerja terhadap pemilihan kariri mahasiswa Akutansi UNJ sebagai Akuntan Publik . Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah mahasiwa Akuntansi UNJ tahun angkatan 2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer berupa pertanyaan dalam bentuk kuesioner yang terdiri dari 31 item pertanyaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi berganda untuk menguji hipotesis dengan bantuan SPSS versi 22. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa (1) penghargaan finansial tidak berpengaruh terhadap pemilihan karir mahasiswa Akuntansi UNJ sebagai Akuntan Publik, (2) pengakuan profesional berpengaruh positif terhadap pemilihan karir mahasiswa Akuntansi UNJ sebagai Akuntan Publik, (3) nilai sosial berpengaruh positif terhadap pemilihan karir mahasiswa Akuntansi UNJ sebagai Akuntan Publik, (4) lingkungan kerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap pemilihan kariri mahasiswa Akuntansi UNJ sebagai Akuntan Publik, (5) pertimbangan pasar kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap pemilihan kariri mahasiswa Akuntansi UNJ sebagai Akuntan Publik. This study aims to determine the effect of financial rewards, professional recognition, social value, work environment, and labor market considerations on the selection of career accounting students of UNJ as a Public Accountant. Population of this research is student of Accounting UNJ year class of 2013. This research use primary data in the form of questionnaire which consists of 31 question items. This study used multiple regression analysis to test the hypothesis with the help of SPSS version 22. The result of the research proves that (1) the financial reward does not affect the career selection of Accounting Students of UNJ as Public Accountant, (2) professional recognition has positive effect on the career selection of Accounting students of UNJ as Public Accountant, (3) UNJ as a Public Accountant, (4) work environment does not affect the selection of career accounting students UNJ as Public Accountant, (5) consideration of job market positively affect the selection of career accounting students UNJ as a Public Accountant.
