Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik perilaku pekerja konstruksi terhadap keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) pada pelaksanaan konstruksi bangunan tinggi. Tempat penelitian ini dilakukan di proyek Hotel Grand Clarion dengan proyek Menara Astra pada bulan Oktober 2016 – Januari 2017. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Populasi dalam peneliti adalah semua pekerja konstruksi yang berada di kedua proyek tersebut. Total jumlah sampel yang diambil adalah 60 pekerja konstruksi dengan teknik penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik sampel acak sederhana. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi untuk mengambil pengamatan perilaku pekerja konstruksi secara aktual, wawancara untuk mengetahui penerapan SMK3 di lokasi penelitian, dan penyebaran kuesioner untuk mengetahui pengetahuan serta penilaian pekerja konstruksi terhadap K3 dengan jumlah butir pertanyaan sebanyak 33 butir. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penerapan K3 pada proyek Hotel Grand Clarion hanya sekitar 70% sesuai dengan peraturan perundangan yang dipakai. Sedangkan proyek Menara Astra telah menerapkan K3 sebesar 100% sesuai dengan peraturan perundangan yang dipakai. Untuk aspek pengetahuan terhadap K3, 63,33% pekerja konstruksi proyek Hotel Grand Clarion memiliki kategori tinggi dan 43,33% pekerja konstruksi proyek Menara Astra memiliki kategori tinggi. Sedangkan untuk sikap pekerja konstruksi di proyek Hotel Grand Clarion kurang baik terhadap K3 saat bekerja dan sikap pekerja konstruksi pada proyek Menara Astra terhadap K3 saat bekerja menunjukkan sikap yang sangat baik. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pekerja konstruksi di proyek Hotel Grand Clarion walaupun memiliki pengetahuan yang tinggi, tidak menunjukkan sikap yang baik karena penerapan K3 yang kurang di proyek tempat mereka bekerja. Sedangkan pekerja konstruksi di proyek Menara Astra walaupun memiliki pengetahuan yang rendah, menunjukkan sikap yang sangat baik terhadap K3 karena penerapan K3 yang baik di proyek tempat mereka bekerja. This study aims to find out the characteristics of construction worker’s behavior towards occupational health and safety on the construction of high building. The research was conducted at Hotel Grand Clarion project with Astra Tower project on October 2016 until January 2017. This research method using qualitative descriptive analysis. The population in this study as many as overall of construction workers at two projects, where this research held. Total number of sample were 60 construction workers using Simple Random Sampling as sampling technique. The research instrument used was the observation to take the actual behavior of construction workers, interview to find out about the application of SMK3 at research sites, and a questionnaire to determine construction worker’s knowledge and assessment towards HSE with the number of the questions as much as 33 grains. Based on the results, at Hotel Grand Clarion project the implemented of HSE just 70% in accordance with the rules they using. While Astra Tower project already implemented 100% of HSE in accordance with the rules they using. For knowledge of HSE aspect, 63,33% construction workers of Hotel Grand Clarion project have a high category and 43,33% construction workers of Astra Tower have a high category. Meanwhile the attitude of construction workers at Hotel Grand Clarion project was so not good towards HSE when they worked and construction workers at Astra Tower project showed a very good attitude towards HSE when they worked, although they just have a low category of HSE’s knowledge. It can be concluded that construction workers at Hotel Grand Clarion project not showed a good attitude towards HSE, although they have a high category on knowledge of HSE because the implemented of HSE on this project still lacking. Meanwhile, construction workers at Astra Tower project showed a really good attitude towards HSE, although they have a low category on knowledge of HSE because the implemented of HSE on this project already good.
