Abstract
This study aims to determine: (1) The increase in VO2max ml / kg / min using continuous slow running, (2) The increase in VO2max ml / kg / min using continuous running intemittent, (3) training methods are more effective than exercise continuous running slow intermittent or continuous running against an increase in VO2max ml / kg / min. This research was conducted in the School of Football CSC Indonesia with the sample aged 16-18 years using quantitative methods of experimental research model. Retrieval and data processing take place from 14 April 2016 until the date of May 24, 2016. From the results of the second test group training methods and continuous running slow continuous intermittent running average values obtained final data of 47.55 ml / kg / min and 50.39 ml / kg / min and a standard deviation of 30.45 and 44.892. To know the difference between a slow continuous running (X1) and continuous intermittent running (X2) is determined by using test thitung 2.31 and ttable with a significant level of 0.025 is 2.903, then Ho is rejected thitung (2.31)> TTable (2,093) and H3 is received.
