Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-compassion dan loneliness pada remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif yaitu dengan skala psikologi. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur self-compassion adalah adaptasi Self-compassion Scale (SCS) dari Kristin D. Neff. Sedangkan instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur loneliness adalah adaptasi De Jong Gierveld Loneliness Scale (DJGLS) dari De Jong Gierveld. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 142 responden. Hasil uji reliabilitas skala self-compassion sebesar 0,92 dengan 25 item valid, sedangkan hasil uji reliabilitas skala loneliness sebesar 0.95 dengan 9 item valid, keduanya dianalisis dengan menggunakan winsteps versi 3.73. Analisis statistik yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah analisis korelasi menggunakan SPSS versi 16.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara self-compasion dan loneliness pada remaja. Kata kunci: Loneliness, Self-compassion, Remaja This research is aimed to portray the correlation between self-compassion and loneliness in adolescents. This research implements quantitative method of psychology scale. The instrument that used to measure the self-compassion is adapted from Selfcompassion Scale (SCS) by Kristin D. Neff. However, the instrument used to measure the loneliness is adapted from De Jong Gierveld Loneliness Scale (DJGLS) by De Jong Gierveld. The sample of this research is 142 respondents. The result of reliability of self-compassion scale is 0.92 with 25 valid items, while the result of reliability of loneliness scale is 0.95 with 9 valid items, both of them were analyzed using winsteps version 3.73. The statistic analysis that used to examine the hypothesis is named correlation analysis of SPSS version 16.0. The result of the research showed that there is a correlation between self-compassion and loneliness in adolescents significantly. Keywords: Loneliness, Self-compassion, Adolescents
