Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu meningkatkan kecerdasan interpersonal pada siswa setelah diterapkannya model cooperative learning type TGT pada mata pelajaran IPS di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Bojonggede 02 Jalan Raya Bambu Kuning No. 35 Kabupaten Bogor. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 35 orang siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas oleh Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang dilaksnakan dengan menggunakan metode siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa diperoleh peningkatan persentase mulai dari prapenelitian siswa mendapatkan nilai ≥75 sebesar 48%, pada akhir siklus I didapat sebesar 60% dan pada akhir siklus II didapat peningkatan menjadi 84%. Hasil kecerdasan interpersonal pada siklus II telah melampaui target. Dengan demikian implikasi model cooperative learning type TGT pada mata pelajaran IPS sebagai upaya peningkatan kecerdasan interpersonal telah mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan di kelas. *The purpose of this study is to improve interpersonal intelligence in students after the implementation of the TGT cooperative learning type model in social studies subjects in elementary schools. This research was conducted at SDN Bojonggede 02 Jalan Bambu Kuning No. 35 Bogor Regency. The subjects of this study were the fifth grade students which numbered 35 students. This research was carried out using the classroom action research method by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart is implemented using a cycle method. The results showed that an increase in the percentage starting from the pre-study students got a value of ≥75 of 48%, at the end of the first cycle it was 60% and at the end of the second cycle the increase was 84%. The results of interpersonal intelligence in cycle II have exceeded the target. Thus the implications of the TGT cooperative learning type model on social studies subjects as an effort to improve interpersonal intelligence have achieved the desired goals in the class.
