Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi: (1) dasar hukum, tujuan, dan sasaran program diklat, (2) sumber daya program diklat, (3) proses pelaksanaan program diklat, (4) hasil program pendidikan dan pelatihan (diklat) calon kepala perpustakaan sekolah bagi guru SD, SMP, SMA, dan SMK Se-Provinsi Bengkulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, model evaluasi CIPP. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian program diklat secara umum sudah sesuai dengan standar dan kriteria program diklat, adapun hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan: (1) Program diklat, memiliki dasar hukum dan tujuan yang jelas; (2) Sumber daya program diklat, dikategorikan sudah memenuhi standar atau kriteria; (3) Pelaksananaan program diklat, sudah berjalan sesuai dengan tujuan program diklat; dan (4) Hasil program diklat dalam peningkatan kompetensi calon kepala perpustakaan sekolah secara umum dalam kategori “baik”. Secara khusus produk dari program diklat harus dipertahankan dan semaksimal mungkin harus ditingkatkan. *The research aimed to evaluate; (1) the legal basis, goal, and objective of training program, (2) the training program resources, (3) the implementation process of training program, (4) the result of training program for candidate of head of school library to teachers in elementary school, junior high school, senior high school, and vocational high school all over Bengkulu Province. This research uses qualitative approach, using CIPP evaluation model. In collection data, the researcher used observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study of the training program in general are in accordance with the standards and criteria of the training program, while the results of this study explain; (1) training program, has a clear legal basis and purpose, (2) training program resources, categorized as having met the standards or criteria, (3) Implementation of education and training program, has been run in accordance with the objectives of the training program, and (4) the result of the training program in improving the competence of candidate head of school library in general in the "good" category. Specifically the products of the training program must be maintained and should be increased as much as possible.
