Abstract

The objective of this research is to understand comprehensively the effect of organizational communication and employee engagement toward performance of the employee in the Department of Education and Culture, Serang Regency. The research used a survey method with path analysis applied in testing hypothesis. It was conducted to 95 employees as the respondents which were selected in a simple random way. The data analysis and interpretation reveals that (1) organizational communication has direct positive influence toward performance, (2) employee engagement has direct positive influence toward performance, (3) organizational communication has direct positive influence toward employee engagement.
