Abstract

This study aim is to determine the effectiveness of educational programs at the Correctional Institution IIA class male child Tangerang which is an evaluation research empirically using a qualitative approach and methods of program evaluation logic model that includes the situation, inputs, outputs and outcomes. The results showed: (1) component situation is almost good for the state and activity of educational programs in medium/moderate category, (2) component input consists of standard content, process and assessment, educators, facilities and costs, education management, and only management that means is almost meets the success criteria of evaluation, (3) component output which educational programs provides certificates to the student who passing the national exam 100%, and (4) components outcome in the category was due to the lack of use of the skills acquired during the program education and there are some students prisonswho can not build a relationship as well. Therefore it is necessary to repair the situation and the input stage.
