Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi yang tepat berdasarkan perhitungan statistik mengenai pengaruh karakter wirausaha dan tingkat pendidikan terhadap keberhasilan usaha pada usaha kecil pengrajin sandal dan sepatu di Kecamatan Ciomas, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Persepatuan Ciomas Kabupaten Bogor Jawa Barat. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh pengrajin sandal dan sepatu di Kecamatan Ciomas yang berjumlah 768 orang pengrajin. Populasi terjangkau sebanyak 168 orang pengrajin. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 42 atau 25% dari populasi terjangkau dengan menggunakan sampel acak sederhana (simple random sampling). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode ex post facto. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dengan menggunakan pendekatan korelasional yaitu untuk melihat pengaruh variabel bebas (Karakter Wirausaha dan Tingkat Pendidikan terhadap variabel terikat (Keberhasilan Usaha). Persamaan regresi dalam penelitian ini adalah Ŷ=-10,781+0,119Xଵ+0,466Xଶ. Untuk Uji Persyaratan Analisis diperoleh hasil uji normalitas data yaitu dengan melihat Kolomgrov-Smirnov dengan tingkat signifikansi 5% atau 0,05, data menunjukkan Keberhasilan Usaha sebesar 0,077, Karakter Wirausaha 0,333 dan Tingkat Pendidikan sebesar 0,101. Ketiga angka tersebut lebih besar dari 0,05 sehingga keputusannya data berdistribusi normal. Berdasarkan uji Koefesien Regresi Parsial diperoleh variable Karakter Wirausaha yang memiliki t hitung = 5,464 dan Tingkat Pendidikan = 4,695 dimana secara terpisah menyatakan signifikansinya (t hitung > t tabel) dengan t tabel sebesar 2,022, artinya masing�masing variabel bebas (Karakter Wirausaha dan Tingkat Pendidikan) memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap variabel terikat (Keberhasilan Usaha). Sedangkan uji Koefesien Regresi secara simultan diperoleh F hitung (381,625) > F tabel (3,24), berarti kedua variabel bebas (karakter wirausaha dan tingkat pendidikan) secara serentak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Keberhasilan Usaha. Perhitungan Koefesien korelasi yang dilakukan diperoleh R = 0,975 yang artinya keertan hubungan karakter wirausaha dan tingkat pendidikan terhadap keberhasilan usaha adalah dalam kategori kuat. Kemudian Koefesien Determinasi (R²) yang diperoleh sebesar 0,951. Artinya variabel karakter wirausaha dan tingkat pendidikan dapat menerangkan variabel keberhasilan usaha sebesar 95,1%, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti. Untuk itu Karakter Wirausaha dan Tingkat Pendidikan diperlukan dalam Keberhasialn Usaha. The study aims to get the right information based on statistical calculations about the influence of Entrepreneurial Characters And Education Level To Bussines Success Of Sandal And Shoes Makers On Ciomas Bogor West Java. Research carried out At Ciomas Bogor West Java. The population in this study are all of sandal and shoes makers At Ciomas Bogor West Java about 768 of sandal and shoes makers. Population affordable is 168 makers of sandal and shoes, than sample is 42 taken 25% of population affordable (25% x 168=42). The research method used in this study is ex post facti method, because to get the correct data and in accordance with the facts obtained directly from the source. The data used are primary data using the correlation approach is to look at the influence independent variables (Entrepreneurial Characters and Education Level) to the dependent variable (Business Success). Regression equations in this study is Ŷ = -10,781 + 0,119Xଵ + 0,466Xଶ. To test Requirements Analysis normality test result based Kolmogrov-Smornov with 5% of significant. From the results it was found that the estimated error have normal distribution. Baesd t test of entrepreneurial characters is 5,464, and education level is 4,695, so that significant (t count > t table), that mean is each of the independent variables there are influence to dependent variable. Beside that, with F test, the effect of the entrepreneurial characters and education level to business success, F count (381,625) > F table (3,24), It means in simultant there is the influence of the entrepreneurial and education level to bussines success. Correlation coefficient calculation is done by using the formula derived product moment (R) = 0,975, it mean there is a meaningful correlation entrepreneurial and education level to bussines success is strong. Based on the calculation results obtained value of coefficient of determination (KD) equal to 0,951. Its mean that 95,1% bussines success is determimined by entrepreneurial characters and education level. For that entrepreneurial characters and education level indispensable for business success to be seen from the empirical research data by researchers.
