Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sistem nilai pada mahasiswa yang menjadi pimpinan organisasi kemahasiswaan di Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Populasinya adalah seluruh mahasiswa yang menjadi pimpinan organisasi kemahasiswaan di Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Jumlah responden sebanyak 200 orang yang terdiri dari 115 orang laki-laki dan 85 orang perempuan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di seluruh organisasi kemahasiswaan Universitas Negeri Jakarta mulai dari tingkat jurusan sampai tingkat universitas, baik yang jenisnya Organisasi Pemerintahan Mahasiswa maupun Organisasi kemahasiswaan dan mewakili organisasi yang berasal dari intra maupun ekstra-kampus, dengan sampel mahasiswa dari tujuh fakultas, mulai dari angkatan 2006-2009. Metodologi penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif (satistik 1: statistik deskriptif), Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik Incidental sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan bantuan komputer program SPSS 17. Pengujian instrumen tidak dapat dilakukan karena alat ukur penelitian yang digunakan terdiri dari sembilan item yang masing-masing mengukur hal yang berbeda. Penelitian ini mendapatkan hasil dalam bentuk skoring dari setiap item List Of Values. Skor yang dicapai subjek pada tiap item List Of Values berkisar antara 1 sampai 4. Skor rata-rata atau mean pada tiap item List Of Values tergolong tinggi. Artinya semakin tinggi skor subjek menunjukkan semakin pentingnya tiap item pada List Of Values (Self-respecatau menjaga martabat diri, Security atau rasa aman, Warm relationships with others atau hubungan yang hangat dengan orang lain, Sense of accomplishment atau keberhasilan diri, Self-fulfillment atau pemenuhan kepuasan diri, Sense of belonging atau menjadi bagian dari kelompok, well-respected atau menjadi orang yang dihormati, Fun and enjoyment in life atau kesenangan dan kenikmatan dalam hidup, Excitement atau kegairahan hidup) bagi pimpinan organisasi kemahasiswaan di UNJ. This study aims to get a clear picture about the system of value practiced by students who were being leaders in student organizations at State University of Jakarta. The population of the study was all students who had been leaders of student organizations at State University of Jakarta. The respondents of the study were 200 people; they were 115 male and 85 female students. The study was conducted at the whole student organizations at State University of Jakarta from department level to university level, at Student Government Organization and Student Organization which represented organizations from intra campus and extra campus. The sample of the study was students of seven different faculties who entered the university in 2006 – 2009. The methodology of the study is descriptive quantitative (statistic 1: descriptive statistic). The sample of the study is chosen by incidental sampling technique. The collection of data was conducted by employing questionnaire. The questionnaire was analyzed by SPSS 17 computer program. The instrument testing was not able to be done since the instrument of measurement which is used included 9 items that measured different aspects. The result of the study is presented in score based on the items of List of Values. The scores of List of Value items were ranging from 1 to 4. The mean score of each item were high. Higher score of the subject shows the higher degree of importance of each item (Self-respect, Security, Warm relationship with others, Sense of accomplishment, Self-fulfillment, Sense of belonging, Well-respected, Fun and enjoyment of life, and Excitement) for the leaders of student organization at State University of Jakarta.
