Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keeratan hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan prestasi kerja pada karyawan PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor Plant Cakung di Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama dua bulan, terhitung mulai dari bulan Oktober sampai dengan November 2010. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi dari penelitian adalah karyawan PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor Plant Cakung, Jakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik acak proporsional (proportional random sampling) dengan sampel sebanyak 135 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data variabel X (Dukungan Sosial) dan variabel Y (Prestasi Kerja) dalam penelitian ini diukur dengan menggunakan Skala Likert. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini dimulai dengan mencari persamaan regresi sederhana dan diperoleh persamaan regresi Ŷ= 31,49 + 0,514X, sedangkan uji persyaratan analisis yaitu uji normalitas galat taksiran regresi Y atas X dengan uji Liliefors diperoleh Lhitung (0,053) < Ltabel (0,076), hal ini berarti sampel berasal dari populasi berdistribusi normal. Uji keberartian dan kelinieran regresi dengan menggunakan tabel Analisis Varians (ANAVA) diperoleh persamaan regresi Fhitung (25,48) > Ftabel (3,92) yang menyatakan regresi berarti serta uji linieritas regresi menghasilkan Fhitung (1,55) < Ftabel (1,68) yang menunjukkan bahwa model regresi yang digunakan adalah linier. Uji hipotesis koefisien korelasi hubungan antara variabel X dan variabel Y dilakukan dengan rumus Product Moment dari Pearson yang menghasilkan rxy sebesar 0,401; ini berarti hubungan antara kedua variabel tersebut kuat. Uji signifikasi dengan thitung sebesar 5,05 dan ttabel sebesar 1,645. Karena thitung > ttabel, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Dukungan Sosial dengan Prestasi Kerja pada karyawan PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor Plant Cakung di Jakarta. Uji koefisien determinasi menghasilkan KD sebesar 16,08 %. Maka dapat diambil kesimpulan terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara Dukungan Sosial dengan Prestasi Kerja. This study aims to determine the relationship between social support with performance on employee of PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor Plant Cakung. This research was conducted for two months starting from October until November 2010. The method used is survey method with correlational approach. The population is employee of PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor Plant Cakung, Jakarta. The sampling technique is proportional random sampling with 135 respondents. The instrument used to obtain data on variable X (Social Support) and variable Y (Performance) was measured using a Likert Scale. The data analysis technique starts by looking for a simple regression equation and the regression equation Ŷ= 31,49+0,514X, while the test requirements of the analysis are the estimated regression error normality test Y on X with obtained Liliefors test Lcount (0,053) < Ltable (0,076), this means that samples come from normally distributed population. Test of significance and linier regression by using the table Analysis of Variance (ANAVA) test was obtained regression equation Fcount (25,48) > Ftable (3,92) which states that the regression is very significant and regressions that produce linierity test Fcount (1,55) < F table (1,68) which indicates that the model uses linier regression. Correlation coefficient hypothesis tests conducted using the formula rxy Product Moment by Pearson yield of 0,401; this means the relationship between two variables is strong. Tests of significance with tcount equal to 5,05 and ttable value of 1,645. Because tcount > ttable from the above study, the researcher can conclude that there is a significant relationship between the Social Support with Performance on employee of PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor Plant Cakung in Jakarta. Test determination coefficient KD of 16,08% yield. So it is concluded that there are positive and significant relationship between the Social Support with Performance.
