Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan konsep diri pada siswa kelas XI di SMK Strada Budi Luhur Bekasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Strada Budi Luhur Bekasi selama 3 bulan terhitung sejak bulan November 2010 sampai dengan bulan Januari 2011. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMK Strada Bekasi yang berjumlah 480 siswa. Populasi terjangkaunya berjumlah 110 siswa. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 84 siswa. Untuk teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan acak proporsional. Untuk menjaring data kedua variabel penelitian digunakan instrumen penelitian berbentuk kuesioner model skala likert pada variabel X (pola asuh orang tua) dan variabel Y (konsep diri). Sebelum digunakan, dilakukan uji validitas konstruk melalui proses validasi dengan membandingkan koefisien korelasi skor butir, skor total dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan Alpha Cronbach. Hasil reliabilitas instrumen variabel X (pola asuh orang tua) dari perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa r sebesar 0,904 dan termasuk dalam kategori (0,800 – 1,000), ini berarti instrumen dapat dikatakan memiliki reliabititas yang sangat tinggi dan instrumen variabel Y (konsep diri) dari perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa r sebesar 0,971, maka instrumen dapat dikatakan memiliki reliabilitas yang sangat tinggi. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh persamaan regresi linier Ŷ = 109,93 + 0,579X. Uji persyaratan analisis untuk menguji normalitas galat taksiran regresi Y atas X berdistribusi normal. Hal ini dibuktikan oleh perhitungan menggunakan uji Liliefors pada taraf signifikansi (α) = 0,05 yang menunjukkan bahwa Lhitung (0,079) < Ltabel (0,097). Dalam uji hipotesis, uji keberartian koefisien regersi menggunakan tabel analisis varians (ANAVA) diperoleh hasil yaitu Fhitung (39,01) > Ftabel (3,96) yang menyatakan regresi berarti. Dari hasil uji linieritas regresi diperoleh Fhitung (0,065) < Ftabel (1,69) yang menunjukkan bahwa model regresi yang digunakan adalah linier. Koefisien korelasi yang dihitung dengan menggunakan rumus Product Moment menghasilkan rxy = 0,568 termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Hasil dari uji signifikansi diperoleh thitung sebesar 6,25 dan ttabel sebesar 1,67. Perhitungan koefisien determinasi menunjukkan 0,3224. Hal ini berarti variasi variabel konsep diri 32,24% ditentukan oleh pola asuh orang tua dan sisanya 67,76% ditentukan oleh faktor-faktor lain. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang positif, linier dan signifikan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan konsep diri pada siswa kelas XI di SMK Strada Budi Luhur Bekasi. The purpose of this research is to get a valid and reliable data or fact to know more the correlation between parenting pattern with students self concept at 12th year in SMK Strada Budi Luhur Bekasi. The research heald in SMK Strada Budi Luhur Bekasi in 3 month starting from November 2010 to Januari 2011. The methodology used in this research is survey with correlational approach. Population in this research is a student of SMK Strada Budi Luhur Bekasi, amounting to 480 students. Affordable to a population of 110 students. The sample used was 84 students. Techniques for sampling is done with technique Random Proportional (Proportional Random Sampling). To encompass both of the data variables used research instruments shape the research questionnaire in Likert-Scale model of variable X (parenting pattern) and the variable Y (self concept). Before that, the validity test performed construct through the validation process with the correlation coefficients to compare scores with the grains and the total test score reliability using Alpha Cronbach. Result reliability instrument variable X (parenting pattern) of the calculation shows that the r is about 0,904 and included in the category (0,800 – 1,000), its means that the instrument can have a very high reliability and instrument variable Y (self concept) from the calculation shows that r is about 0,971, so the instrumens have a very high reliability. Form the result of calculation obtained linier sample regressions equation Ŷ = 109,93 + 0,579X. Test requirement analysis to test estimated regression error normalitas Y on X that indicates that the error estimated regression Y on X normal distribution. This is evidenced by the test calculations on the extent Liliefors significance (α) = 0,05 which indicates that Lhitung (0,079) < Ltabel (0,097). In the hypothenical test, test keberartian coefficients using regression analysis variant table (ANAVA) obtained results that Fhitung (39,01) > Ftabel (3,96) means that regression. From the results of the regression test linieritas obtained Fhitung (0,065) < Ftabel (1,69) that indicates that the regression model used is linier. Correlation coefficients calculated using the the formula the product moment rxy = 0,568 are included in the category. Significance of the test result obtained thitung of ttabel of 6,25 and 1,67. Determination coefficients calculation shows 0,3224. This means that the variations and accur on the creativity variable 32,24% determined by the pattern of foster parents and the remaining 67,74% is deternimaed by the other factors. Coclusion of research shows a positive, linier and significant between parenting pattern with students self concept at 12th year in SMK Strada Budi Luhur Bekasi.
