Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keeratan hubungan antara Self-efficacy dengan Prestasi akademik mahasiswa Pada Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan di selama dua bulan terhitung sejak Juli sampai dengan Desember 2010. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey dengan pendekatan korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu teknik acak proposional (proportional rondom sampling) dengan sampel sebanyak 202 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data variabel X (Self-efficacy) diukur menggunakan replikasi New General Self�Efficacy (NGSE) dan variabel Y (Prestasi Akademik) dalam penelitian ini diukur dengan menggunakan Skala Likert. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini dimulai dengan mencari persamaan regresi sederhana dan diperoleh persamaan regresi Ŷ= 2.11 + 0.038X, sedangkan uji persyaratan analisis yaitu uji normalitas galat taksiran regresi Y atas X dengan uji Liliefors diperoleh Lhitung (0,055) < Ltabel (0,062), hal ini berarti sampel berasal dari populasi berdistribusi normal. Uji keberartian dan kelinieran regresi dengan menggunakan tabel Analisis Varians (ANAVA) diperoleh persamaan regresi Fhitung (22,55) > Ftabel (3,86) yang menyatakan regresi berarti serta uji linieritas regresi menghasilkan Fhitung (-11,32) < Ftabel (2,12) yang menunjukkan bahwa model regresi yang digunakan adalah linier. Uji hipotesis koefisien korelasi hubungan antara variabel X dan variabel Y dilakukan dengan rumus Product Moment dari Pearson yang menghasilkan rxy sebesar 0,318; ini berarti hubungan antara kedua variabel tersebut kuat. Uji signifikasi dengan thitung sebesar 4,75 dan ttabel sebesar 1,645. Karena thitung > ttabel, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Self�Efficacy dengan Prestasi Akademik mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Uji koefisien determinasi menghasilkan KD sebesar 10,13 %. Maka dapat diambil kesimpulan terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara Self-Efficacy dengan Akademik. This study aims to determine the relationship between Self-Efficacy with Academic Achievements on Student Faculty of Economics (FE) UNJ. This research was conducted for three months starting from July until December 2010. The method used is survey method with correlational approach. The population is student of Faculty Economics Jakarta state University in Jakarta. The sampling technique is proportional random sampling with 202 respondents. The instrument used to obtain data on variable X (Self-efficacy) was measured using a replication of New General Self-efficacy (NGSE) and variable Y (Academic Achievements) was measured using a Likert Scale. The data analysis technique starts by looking for a simple regression equation and the regression equation Ŷ= 2,11+0,038X, while the test requirements of the analysis are the estimated regression error normality test Y on X with L obtained Liliefors testcount (0,055) < Ltable (0,062), this means that samples come from normally distributed population. Test of significance and linier regression by using the table Analysis of Variance (ANAVA) test was obtained regression equation (22,55) > Ftable (3,86) which states that the regression is very significant and regressions that produce linierity test Fcount (-11,32) < F table (2,12) which indicates that the model uses linier regression. Correlation coefficient hypothesis tests conducted using the formula rxy Product Moment by Pearson yield of 0,318; this means the relationship between two variables is strong. Tests of significance with tcount equal to 4,75 and ttable value of 1,645. Because tcount > ttable from the above study, the researcher can conclude that there is a significant relationship between the Self-efficacy with Academic Achievements on Student Faculty of Economics (FE) UNJ . Test determination coefficient KD of 10,13% yield. So it is concluded that there are positive and significant relationship between the Self-efficacy with Academic Achievements.
