Abstract

Kementerian Hukum dan HAM (Kemenkumham) menyelenggarakan event Seminar Nasional Peringatan Hari Pers Nasional 2021 diselenggarakan atas kerja sama Kemenkumham dan Hari Pers Nasional Persatuan Wartawan Indonesia sebagai bentuk dukungan dan kontribusi kongkret Kemenkumham terhadap Pers. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui manajemen event Kemenkumham pada saat tahap pra event, tahap pelaksana event, dan tahap pasca event. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah perencanaan penyelenggaraan event yang terdiri dari Research, Design, Planning, Coordination, Evaluation yang dikemukakan oleh Dr. Joe Goldblatt dalam bukunya Special Event Creating and Sustaining a New World for Celebration, Seventh Edition. Metodologi yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Serta teknik analisis data yang berupa reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa event Seminar Nasional Peringatan Hari Pers Nasional 2021 membagi proses manajemen event kedalam lima tahapan yaitu Research, Design, Planning, Coordination, dan Evaluation. Research, tahap ini dilakukan dengan cara berdiskusi untuk mencari jalan tengah dan sebagai tempat untuk mengutarakan dan menyatukan ide. Design, panitia melakukan diskusi terkait konsep acara, anggaran keuangan, dan bentuk antisipasi hal yang tidak terduga dalam event. Planning, panitia menyusun strategi menyukseskan event, persiapan teknis event, dan mempersiapkan fasilitas kebutuhan peserta. Coordination, dalam hal ini panitia selalu melakukan koordinasi dan komunikasi dengan pihak internal dan pihak eksternal. Evaluation, proses ini dilihat dari faktor kendala dan faktor keberhasilan serta tanggapan peserta untuk menjadi evaluasi pada event selanjutnya Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa event Seminar Nasional Peringatan Hari Pers Nasional 2021 telah menerapkan tahapan perencanaan penyelenggaraan event menurut teori Dr. Joe Goldblatt. Walaupun terjadi hambatan dalam pelaksanaannya namun event ini dapat berjalan dengan lancar sesuai tujuan dan mendapatkan kesan positif dari peserta. The Ministry of Law and Human Rights held a National Seminar on Commemoration National Press Day 2021 organized by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights and the Indonesian Journalists' National Press Day as a form of support and concrete contribution of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights to the Press. The purpose of this study was to determine the event management of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights at the pre-event stage, event implementation stage, and post-event stage. The theory used in this research is the planning of the event which consists of Research, Design, Planning, Coordination, Evaluation proposed by Dr. Joe Goldblatt in his book Special Event Creating and Sustaining a New World for Celebration, Seventh Edition. The methodology used is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods and data collection techniques using observation, in-depth interview and documentation. In this study, the authors used the data validity technique using source triangulation. As well as data analysis techniques in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the study show that the 2021 National Press Day Commemoration National Seminar event divides the event management process into five stages, namely Research, Design, Planning, Coordination, and Evaluation. Research, this stage is carried out by discussing to find a middle way and as a place to express and unite ideas. Design, the committee held discussions related to the concept of the event, financial funding, and forms of anticipation of the unexpected in the event. Planning, the committee formulates strategies for the success of the event, technical preparation of the event, and prepares the facilities for the needs of participants. Coordination, in this case the committee always coordinates and communicates with internal and external parties. Evaluation, this process is seen from the obstacle factors and success factors as well as participant responses to be an evaluation at the next event. The conclusion of this study is that the 2021 National Press Day Commemoration National Seminar event has implemented the planning stages of organizing events according to theory Dr. Joe Goldblatt. Although there were obstacles in its implementation, this event was able to run smoothly according to its objectives and received a positive impression from the participants.
