Abstract

Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana agama Kristen mulai masuk ke tanah batak saat para misionaris yang datang ke tanah Batak, berhasil membawa keluar bangsa Batak menuju era modern. Perubahan pun banyak terjadi mulai dari kekerabatan, hukum serta agama juga mengalami perubahan. Suku Batak yang dahulu hidup dalam masa kehidupan berhala, yang masih percaya kepada dukun dan dewa-dewa, kini berubah mereka telah mau masuk Kristen dan memilih Yesus sebagai Juru selamatnya. Didalam kehidupan sehari-hari juga bangsa batak banyak mengalami perubahan, yang dahulu masih tertutup akan keberadaan orang baru kini menjadi terbuka.
