Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan time pressure, tindakan supervisi, locus of control dan self esteem in relation to ambition terhadap penghentian prematur atas prosedur audit. Data penelitian diambil dari 37 auditor yang berada di Jakarta Timur dan Jakarta Selatan. Metode analysis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji asumsi klasik, analisi regresi linear berganda, uji t, uji F dan R2 . Hasil dari pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa time pressure, locus of control dan self esteem in relation to ambition berpengaruh terhadap penghentian prematur atas prosedur audit sedangkan tindakan supervisi tidak berpengaruh terhadap penghentian prematur atas prosedur audit. Time pressure, tindakan supervisi, locus of control dan self esteem in relation to ambition berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap penghentian prematur atas prosedur audit. ***** The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between time pressure, supervision of action, locus of control and self-esteem in relation to ambition to the audit procedures premature sign-off. Data of this research is obtained from the 37 auditors these are in East Jakarta and South Jakarta. Data analysis method used in this study is the classical assumption, multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test and R2 . Results of hypothesis testing showed that time pressure, locus of control and selfesteem in relation to ambition have influence significant on audit procedures premature sign-off while supervision of action doesn’t significant on audit procedures premature sign-off. Time pressure, supervision of action, locus of control and self-esteem in relation to ambition simultaneously affect audit procedures premature sign-off.
