Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data yang valid serta dipercaya mengenai hubungan antara partisipasi siswa dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dengan prestasi akademik. Data dikumpulkan dari survei pada 74 siswa Jurusan Akuntansi SMK Negeri 42 Jakarta yang terdiri dari angkatan 2012/2013 kelas XI Akuntansi 1 dan XI Akuntansi 2. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah propotional random sampling. Survei dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuesioner terhadap sampel yang sudah ditentukan. Skor partisipasi siswa dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler diperoleh dari pengembangan kuesioner dengan Skala Likert. Sedangkan prestasi akademik siswa merupakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari nilai rapor siswa semester genap. Sampel penelitian diambil sebanyak 58 siswa. Persamaan regresi dalam penelitian ini adalah Ŷ= 80,12+0,03x. Dari persamaan tersebut, dilakukan uji persyaratan liliefors didapat Lhitung<Ltabel (0,0780<0,1163). Hal itu berarti data berdistribusi normal. Pada uji keberartian regresi di dapat Fhitung (8,29) > Ftabel (4,02) yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa model persamaan regresi berarti. Sedangkan untuk uji kelinieran regresi diperoleh hasil Fhitung (0,53) < Ftabel (2,07) yang menandakan bahwa persamaan regresi linier. Hasil uji koefisien korelasi dengan menggunakan product moment dari Pearson diperoleh nilai = 0,366, hal ini berarti terdapat hubungan yang positif antara partisipasi siswa dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dengan prestasi akademik siswa jurusan akuntansi SMK Negeri 42 Jakarta. Dari perhitungan uji keberartian korelasi didapat thitung (2,94) > ttabel (1,68). Hal ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara partisipasi siswa dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dengan prestasi akademik. Dari hasil perhitungan koefisien determinasi diperoleh angka 13,36% sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa partisipasi siswa dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler memiliki kontribusi terhadap prestasi akademik sebesar 13,36%. ***** The purpose of this research is to get valid and reliable data about corelation between student participation in extracurricular with academic achievement. The data was collected from the survey method of 74 student of Department Accounting of State Vocational Secondary School 42 Jakarta consist of 2012/2013 class of Accounting 1 and 2. The a sampling using proportional random sampling technique. The survey was conducted by distributing questionnaires to a sample that has been determined. Score of student participation in extracurricular was obtained by questionnaires development with Likert scale. Meanwhile student academic achievement is secondary data obtained from the students' second semester report cards. Research samples was taken as 58 students. Regression equation in this research is Ŷ=80,12+0,03x. From this equation test requirements analysis conducted by the normality test error estimate the regression of Y on X obtained by Liliefors Lhitung<Ltabel (0,0780<0,1163). It mean the data are normally distributed. On the meaningful of regressions test we got the result Fhitung (8,29) > Ftabel (4,02) which can be conclude that the regression model is means. As for the linierity test obtained Fhitung (0,53) < Ftabel (2,07) indicating that the regression equation is linear. The test results by using a correlation coefficient of Pearson product moment values obtained = 0,366. This means there is a positive relationship between student participation in extracurricular with academic achievement of students in Department of Accounting of State Vocational Secondary School 42 Jakarta. From the correlation meaningful test calculations thitung (2,94) > ttabel (1,68). Indicating a significant relationship between student participation in extracurricular with academic achievement. From the calculation results obtained 13,36% coefficient of determination so that it can be said that the student participation in extracurricular has contribution on academic achievement as 13,36%.
