Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Dengan tujuan mengetahui Implementasi Program Induksi Guru Pemula, mulai Perencanaan Program Induksi Guru Pemula, Pelaksanaan Program Induksi Guru Pemula, dan Peran pengawas, kepala sekolah, dan guru pembimbing dari Program Induksi Guru Pemula dalam Peningkatan Kompetensi Guru. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri 35 Jakarta, dimulai sejak Februari hingga Juli 2013. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Key Informan penelitian adalah Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah, Guru Senior, dan Guru Pemula. Proses pelaksanaan program induksi guru pemula telah dilaksanakan sesuai dengan prosedur yang telah ditetapkan, SMPN 35 Jakarta telah melaksanakan sesuai dengan prosedur yang telah ditetapkan, selain itu SMPN 35 Jakarta telah mampu menyelenggarakan program induksi guru pemula dengan segala sumber daya yang dimiliki oleh sekolah baik dari segi perencanaan, tahap pembimbingan yang dilakukan guru pembimbing terhadap guru pemula peserta program induksi, tahap penilaian yang dilakukan oleh pihak-pihak yang diberi kewenangan untuk member penilaian, hingga pada tahap pelaporan hasil penilaian pada lembaga terkait, dan peran dari pengawas sekolah, kepala sekolah, dan guru pembimbing, sudah dilakukan sesuai dengan tupoksi masing-masing. Implikasi hasil penelitian adalah Program induksi guru pemula merupakan langkah yang dilakukan sekolah dalam rangka meningkatkan kompetensi guru pemula yang ditugaskan di SMPN 35 Jakarta. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa, keberhasilan kegiatan program induksi guru pemula akan berpengaruh terhadap hasil pembelajaran untuk siswa. This study is a qualitative research. With the aim of knowing the Teacher Induction Program Implementation Beginner, starting Beginner Teacher Induction Program Planning, Implementation Beginners Teacher Induction Program, and the role of supervisors, principals, and counselors from Beginner Teacher Induction Program in Teacher Competency Enhancement. The study was conducted at SMP Negeri 35 Jakarta, starting from February to July 2013. Collecting data using interviews, observation, and documentation. Key informant research is Principal, Vice Principal, Senior Teacher and Teacher Beginners. Process execution novice teacher induction program has been implemented in accordance with established procedures, SMP 35 Jakarta has performed in accordance with established procedures, in addition to the SMP 35 Jakarta has been able to organize novice teacher induction program with all the resources owned by the school in terms of both planning, mentoring phase conducted on novice teachers supervising teacher induction program participants, the evaluation phase is carried out by parties authorized for member assessment, until the stage of reporting the results of the assessment-related agencies, and the role of school superintendents, principals, and guidance counselor, has been performed in accordance with their respective duties. Implications of the study are novice teacher induction program is a step that made the school in order to improve the competence of novice teachers are assigned in SMP 35 Jakarta. Thus it can be said that, the success of novice teacher induction program will affect the learning outcomes for students.
