Abstract

Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman, penataan rambut mengalami perubahan tergantung pada periode, tradisi, geografis dan kondisi sosial. Semakin berkembangnya dunia penataan rambut, kini penataan rambut klasik menjadi unsur dasar yang memberi nuansa kuat pada penataan rambut modern atau yang sifatnya komersial. Oleh karena itu kembalinya penataan rambut klasik di era modern menjadi suatu tren baru di kalangan masyarakat seperti Penataan Rambut Teknik Bergelombang (Hollywood wave). Penataan rambut teknik bergelombang (Hollywood Wave) adalah penataan rambut dengan membuat bentuk gelombang pada seluruh bagian rambut membentuk wave atau huruf S. penataan rambut ini pada era tahun 70-90an merupakan gaya rambut iconic dari seorang artis Hollywood Bernama Marilyn Monroe. penataan rambut teknik bergelombang (Hollywood Wave) memiliki ciri khas yang membedakan nya dengan penataan rambut curly, bentuk penataan rambut Hollywood wave memiliki tipe bentuk rambut gelombang seperti huruf S, sedangkan penataan rambut curly memiliki tipe bentuk rambut bergulung seperti huruf O, Pegas atau Per. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sebuah produk berupa video tutorial yang layak. Proses di dalam pembuatan video ini terdiri dari proses perencanaan pra produksi, produksi, pasca produksi, proses penelitian, proses pengolahan data dan juga hasil penelitian. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada seorang perempuan yang memiliki rambut panjang dan berwarna hitam. Hasil pembuatan video ini divalidasi oleh dua ahli yaitu Ahli Media dan Ahli Materi. Memenuhi kriteria validasi dengan hasil yang di dapat oleh ahli materi adalah 93,8%, dari ahli media 97%. Yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa video tersebut Sangat Layak untuk digunakan sebagai media alternatif serta mempermudah mahasiswa program studi tata rias dan masyarakat umum untuk mendapatkan informasi dan pengetahuan terkait video tutorial penataan rambut teknik bergelombang (Hollywood wave). ***** Along with the era of evolution, hair styling changes depending on the period, tradition, geography and social conditions. The increasing development of the world of hairstyling, this time classic hairstyle become the basic element that gives a strong feel on modern hairstyle or commercial hairstyle. Therefore, the return of classic hairstyle in the modern era has become a new trend among the public, such as the technique wave hairstyle (Hollywood wave). Technique wave hairstyle (Hollywood wave ) is a hairstyle by making waves on all parts of the hair to form a wave or the letter S. This hairstyle in the era of the 70-90s was an iconic hairstyle from a Hollywood artist named Marilyn Monroe. Technique wave hairstyle (Hollywood wave) has a characteristic that distinguishes it from curly hairstyle, technique wave hairstyle (Hollywood wave ) has a wave hair type like the letter S, while curly hairstyles have roll hair types like the letter O, Spring or Per. This research purpose to creates a product in the form of proper tutorial video. The process in making this video consists of the planning processes pre-production, production, post-production, research processes, data processing, and research results. This research was conducted on a woman who has long and black hair. The results of making this video were validated by two experts, by media expert and material expert. Fulfilling the criteria of validation with the results obtained by material expert is 93.8%, from media expert 97%. That could be concluded the video is well-decent to be used as an alternative media and would facilitate cosmetology students and general public for information and knowledge on tutorial video of technique wave hairstyle (Hollywood wave).
