Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data mengenai Social Loafing dalam Aktivitas Perkuliahan Mahasiswa Pendidikan IPS dan Faktor yang mempengaruhi mahasiswa Pendidikan IPS melakukan Social Loafing dalam Aktivitas perkuliahan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Program Studi Pendidikan IPS Universitas Negeri Jakarta selama 3 minggu dari 9 April 2022 sampai dengan 30 April 2022. Metode penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner/angket dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan persentase. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa social loafing dalam aktivitas perkuliahan mahasiswa termasuk dalam kategori yang beragam yaitu terdiri dari Menurunnya motivasi individu untuk terlibat dalam kegiatan kelompok termasuk dalam kategori sedang dengan persentase 45,96%, sikap pasif termasuk dalam kategori sedang dengan persentase 53,93%, pelebaran tanggung jawab termasuk dalam kategori sedang dengan persentase 58,12%, free ride atau mendompleng usaha pada orang lain termasuk dalam kategori sedang dengan persentase 46,38% dan penurunan kesadaran akan evaluasi orang lain termasuk dalam kategori sedang dengan persentase 47,45%. Faktor yang mempegaruhi terjadinya Social Loafing dalam mahasiswa Pendidikan IPS diantaranya adalah Penghindaran tanggung jawab, besar kecilnya kuota dalam kelompok dan teman sebaya. Faktor tertinggi yang mempengaruhi terjadinya social loafing pada aktivitas perkuliahan mahasiswa Pendidikan IPS adalah evaluasi teman sebaya dengan persentase 72,49% dan termasuk kategori tinggi. This study aims to obtain data on Social Loafing in Social Studies Student Lecture Activities and the factor athat influence Social Studies Education students to do Social Loafing in lecture activities. This research was conducted at the Social Studies Education Study Program, State University of Jakarta for 3 weeks from April 9, 2022 to April 30, 2022. The research method used is descriptive with a quantitative approach, with data collection techniques through questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis technique was carried out by quantitative descriptive analysis techniques using percentages. The results of the study concluded that social loafing in student lecture activities was included in various categories, which consisted of decreased individual motivation to engage in group activities including in the moderate category with a percentage of 45.96%, passive attitude included in the medium category with a percentage of 53.93%, the widening of responsibilities is included in the moderate category with a percentage of 58.12%, free ride or accompanying business to others is in the moderate category with a percentage of 46.38% and decreased awareness of other people's evaluations are included in the moderate category with a percentage of 47.45%. Factors that influence the occurrence of Social Loafing in Social Studies Education students include avoidance of responsibility, the size of the quota in groups and peers. The highest factor that affects the occurrence of social loafing in social studies education student lecture activities is peer evaluation with a percentage of 72.49% and is included in the high category.
