Abstract

Skripsi telah menjadi syarat kelulusan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Informatika dan Komputer (PTIK) Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ). Selain itu skripsi juga sebagai sarana penelitian yang dilakukan mahasiswa dengan bimbingan dosen dengan harapan hasil penelitian tersebut memiliki kualitas tinggi sehingga dapat diterapkan setidaknya di lingkungan Program Studi PTIK. Saat ini pengelolaan semua tahapan administratif skripsi tersebut masih dilakukan secara manual oleh seorang admin program studi. Belum adanya sistem terintegrasi yang membantu keseluruhan proses administratif pelaksanaan skripsi, sehingga muncul sejumlah kendala. Selain itu, kebutuhan informasi yang berkaitan dengan skripsi tidak hanya dibutuhkan untuk kelulusan mahasiswa saja, tetapi informasi tersebut sewaktu-waktu dibutuhkan untuk sistem yang lain. Sehingga dibutuhkan sebuah perangkat lunak layanan sistem informasi skripsi yang dapat memberikan informasi ke berbagai sistem yang didukung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan web service yang dapat digunakan untuk mengembangkan Sistem Informasi Skripsi untuk Program Studi PTIK UNJ yang memiliki sifat adaptif terhadap perubahan yang perlu dilakukan di masa mendatang. Pengembangan dilakukan menggunakan metode Scrum, bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan adalah javascript, dibantu dengan framework ExpressJS, dan menghasilkan 69 endpoint. Pengujian dilakukan pada seluruh endpoint dengan menggunakan metode unit testing dengan bantuan tools Postman. Dari hasil pengujian menunjukan bahwa endpoint berfungsi dengan baik dan layak digunakan sebagai sisi backend dari Sistem Informasi Skripsi Program Studi PTIK UNJ. Thesis has become a graduation requirement for students of the Informatics and Computer Engineering Education Study Program (PTIK) Jakarta State University (UNJ). In addition, the thesis is also a means of research carried out by students with the guidance of lecturers in the hope that the results of the research are of high quality so that they can be applied at least in the PTIK Study Program environment. Currently, the management of all administrative stages of the thesis is still done manually by a study program admin. The absence of an integrated system that helps the entire administrative process of thesis implementation, so that a number of obstacles arise. In addition, the need for information related to the thesis is not only needed for student graduation, but the information is needed from time to time for other systems. So we need a thesis information system service software that can provide information to various supported systems. The purpose of this research is to produce a web service that can be used to develop a Thesis Information System for the UNJ PTIK Study Program which has an adaptive nature to changes that need to be made in the future. The development is carried out using the Scrum method, the programming language used is javascript, assisted by the ExpressJS framework, and produces 69 endpoints. Tests are carried out on all endpoints using the unit testing method with the help of Postman tools. The test results show that the endpoint is functioning properly and is suitable for use as the backend of the Thesis Information System for the UNJ PTIK Study Program.
