Abstract

PENGARUH METODE LATIHAN BODYWEIGHT TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN LIGKAR LENGAN ATAS PADA KARANG TARUNA PONDOK CIKUNIR INDAH BEKASI ABSTRAK Latihan bodyweight merupakan latihan yang sangat efisien. Latihan bodyweight dapat memberikan pengaruh pada pertambahan kekuataan otot yang secara otomatis meningkatkan massa otot pada lengan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan perbandingan massa otot lengan sebelum dan sesudah latihan body weight. Penelitian menggunakan penelitian lapangan eksperimental dengan rancangan one group pre and post-test design selama 4 minggu pada 8 remaja laki-laki. Subjek diberi latihan body weight dengan melakukan gerakan dips dan push-up. Massa otot diukur pada otot bisep-trisep menggunakan alat ukur meteran (cm) untuk mengukur lingkar lengan atas (lila) tiap subjek sebelum dan sesudah latihan. Uji statistic menggunakan uji normalitas (shapiro-wilk) dan uji t berpasangan. Hasil ji t berpasangan didapatkan nilai p=0,00 (lila). Berdasarkan uji didapatkan perbedaan massa otot sebelum dan sesudah latihan. Simpulan penelitian ini ialah adanya pengaruh latihan body weight terhadap lingkar lengan atas (lila) dengan adanya perbedaan ukuran diameter sebelum dan sesudah latihan. Kata Kunci : Body weight training, lingkar lengan atas (lila), massa otot THE EFFECT OF BODYWEIGHT TRAINING METHODS ON THE GROWTH OF UPPER ARM LIGKAR ON YOUTH ORGANIZATION OF PONDOK CIKUNIR INDAH BEKASI ABSTRACT Body weight training is a very efficient exercise. Body weight exercises can have an influence on muscle strength gain which automatically increases muscle mass in the arms. This study aims to determine the comparison of arm muscle mass before and after body weight training. The study used an experimental field study with a one-group pre and post-test design for 4 weeks in 8 adolescent boys. Subjects are given body weight exercises by performing dips and push-up movements. Muscle mass was measured on the biceps-triceps using a meter measuring instrument (cm) to measure the circumference of the upper arm of each subject before and after training. The statistical test uses a normality test (shapiro-wilk) and a paired t test. The result of the paired ji t obtained a value of p =0.00 (right and left). Based on the test, differences in muscle mass before and after exercise were obtained. The conclusion of this study is the effect of body weight training on the circumference of the upper arm with a difference in the size of the diameter before and after training.
