Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi penerapan sanitasi homestay di Desa Cisaat bagi wisatawan staycation pada era new normal dan untuk menganalisis kesesuaian antara sanitasi dengan standar pedoman CHSE. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Cisaat, Kecamatan Ciater, Kabupaten Subang, Jawa Barat pada Agustus sampai September 2021. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode survei. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 8 pemilik homestay Kampung Cisaat pada Desa Cisaat yang tersebar di 1 rukun warga dan 8 rukun tetangga. Teknik pengambilan data dan sumber data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara mendalam menggunakan pedoman wawancara beserta lembar check list observasi mengenai dimensi sanitasi yang akan diteliti pada homestay desa wisata Cisaat, serta dokumentasi berupa foto dan rekaman suara dari informan secara langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sanitasi oleh pemilik homestay sudah memenuhi aspek dari sanitasi air bersih, air limbah, ruang bangunan, pengelohan makan dan minum, kamar mandi, serta pengawasan binatang pengganggu namun masih belum sesuai pada aspek sanitasi pengelolaan sampah karena masih adanya warga yang membakar sampah plastik dan tidak melakukan daur ulang. Kemudian, untuk penerapan pedoman CHSE di homestay Desa Wisata Cisaat belum diterapkan dengan baik yaitu kurang ketatnya penggunaan masker, kurang banyaknya penyediaan sarana cuci tangan dan kurang banyaknya imbauan tentang protokol kesehatan. Implikasi yang dapat dilakukan adalah adanya pengolahan limbah terutama sampah non-organik yang perlu diperbaiki dengan cara 3R (reduce, reuse, recycle) serta pengangkutan sampah ke TPA (Tempat Pembuangan Akhir) secara terjadwal dan tertata. Adanya sistem penyaringan air bersih dari sumber mata air sebelum dialirkan ke homestay dan digunakan oleh warga setempat maupun turis yang menginap. ***** This study aims to identify the implementation of homestay sanitation in the Cisaat tourist village as a way to improve tourist experience in the new normal environment and to analyze the suitability of sanitation with CHSE guidelines. This research was conducted in Cisaat Village, Ciater District, Subang Regency, West Java from August to September 2021. This research method used a descriptive qualitative approach with a survey method. The subjects of this study were 8 homestay owners of Kampung Cisaat in Cisaat Village which were spread over 1 community unit and 8 neighborhood units. Data collection techniques and data sources were carried out by in-depth interviews using interview guidelines along with an observation checklist sheet regarding the dimensions of sanitation to be studied at the Cisaat tourist village homestay, as well as documentation in the form of photos and voice recordings from informants directly. The results showed that the implementation of sanitation by the homestay owner had fulfilled the sanitation aspects of clean water, waste water, building space, food and drink management, bathrooms, and supervision of nuisance animals but it was still not appropriate for the sanitation aspect of waste management because there were still people burning plastic waste and do not recycle. Then, the implementation of the CHSE guidelines at the Cisaat Tourism Village homestay has not been implemented properly, namely the lack of strict use of masks, the lack of provision of hand washing facilities and the lack of advice on health protocols. The implication that can be done is the existence of waste treatment, especially non-organic waste that needs to be improved by means of 3R (reduce, reuse, recycle) and transport waste to TPA (Final Disposal Site) in a scheduled and organized manner. There is a clean water filtration system from springs before it is channeled to the homestay and used by local residents and tourists staying overnight.
